Keyshaw posted he just underwent ANOTHER surgical procedure on his throwing shoulder and hopes to be back by next summer.
Why was he even considered for the postseason rotation?
If the Dodgers knew this and threw him out there anyway, just what kind of organization are they running?
Was this yet ANOTHER missed diagnosis by LA’s crack team of physicians?
First Peralta, now Kershaw. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OUT THERE?!?
GO DODGERS!!!

That playoff start was a disaster. Kersh topped out at maybe 90 MPH and his breaking stuff was flat. NO question it was the worst start of his career. The "what have you done for me lately?" applies to Kersh. Even the Babe had to answer that question when his hitting fell off drastically. NO rhyme nor reason Kersh should be in next year's roster.

So our first big move is to re-sign a slow, out of shape, low D Maxine to $24 mil over two years with a $10 mil option for 2026. Way to go, Dodgers. This will put us over the top for sure. Sure - he can still hit for power. But 35 HR’s in what, 400 + plate appearances and a hit every fifth AB doesn’t justify $12 mil a year.
Maybe they’re just doing it in hopes of including him in a trade package. But honestly - who ELSE would want to take on that kind of salary for a DH that can maybe play the infield once or twice a week? If he’s not traded, we can pretty much say adios to Martinez. I don’t see him getting a contract in that same range to platoon at DH. SMFH!!! GO DODGERS!!! Well how about 104 RBIs, 95 runs scored and a .263 IP? Forget his .212 BA! His hits count and he still has a potent bat. But I'll concede he's an adequate 3Bman at best but at least he can handle the position if needed, hopefully as a last resort. His natural position is 2B which he plays well and so with 1B. HE's a versatile infielder and he was worth resigning. Disagree. Max's natural position is seated & eating. He's put on quite a bit of girth. That .212 batting average comes into play because it's feast or famine. I like the idea of locking him up for trade purposes though.

Our lefty starter could come from Japan:

Our lefty starter could come from Japan: Yup! Imagine Imanaga and say Montgomery or Yamamoto or Gray. That would round out the rotation very nicely.

Eduardo Rodriguez who the team persued at the deadline decline his option with the Tigers so is now a free agent. White Sox decline the club option on Tim Anderson too but didn't have a good hitting year. There are a couple of bats that shouldn't cost too much to bring in like Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Tommy Pham, and maybe Joc though Heyward is probably better defensively at this point. I'm just sick and tired of watching Taylor strike out all freakin' year.

They said someone dropped the ball and the Dodgers didn't know about it and waited on the Tigers and the deadline passed. Appearantly the guy wanted more money to waive his no- trade clause and come to the Dodgers. Weird! We'll see if he ends up on an East Coast team near his family.

Well, with Muncy supposedly back, I guess that rules out Arenado. Where else are you going to play Muncy? Unless you're figuring on jettisoning Martinez. That doesn't sound like addition. Muncy or Martinez? Hmmm...
Trout as the impact bat. Maybe Montgomery & one of the Japanese pitchers.

And they keep saying that SHowtime will be a Dodger with a supposed 50 mil salary over a decade but won't be able to pitch till '25. And it's starting to sound like Mad Max will be traded. He has a potent bat but nowhere to play him. This promises to be a very busy winter.

It's a lefty starter we need and there's none MLB ready on the farm so it's looking like one of those Japanese pitchers will be signed.

I pray to the stars that he's ulitmately moved. Arenado does seem to be a long shot now so I hope the Cards are again a hundred games under .500 when the trade deadline rolls around. Blake Snell got a QO so I don't see Friedman giving up a pick to sign him. Montgomery did not so he jumps over Snell because of it to #1. Shota Imanaga is probably thee or one of the best options for a lefty starter. And, Eduardo Rodriguez is out there as a long shot.
