Both Lux & Trea Turner are listed as 6'-2". We would be placing 5'-9" Mookie Betts at second.
I agree about Lux's range & arm though. No way he can compete with Turner there. What's wrong with that? Dave Lopes was also 5'9" and Joe Morgan was 5'8". And you might remember Freddy Patek who was 5'4". What does that matter anyhow? I did mention that his height wasn’t a huge factor. But it seems like a good deal more line drives are being hit to the left side of the infield lately. Perhaps this is due to more pitchers throwing in the high 90’s / low 100’s and it’s harder to hit those as grounders as opposed to line drives. Those might be snagged by someone with a little more height and leaping abilities, which I just don’t see out of Lux. And I still question his range as well as throwing accuracy abilities. I’d actually prefer Taylor to Lux at short if a free agent cannot be signed. Think I remember seeing him there for a number of games when Seager was hurt and before we got Trea and he seemed to handle the position fairly well. Whether he’s an “everyday” SS might be questionable, but he’s at least worth a look. GO DODGERS!!!

Saw that the Dodgers think Outman can be Bellinger's replacement. That's why they cut him loose.

Saw that the Dodgers think Outman can be Bellinger's replacement. That's why they cut him loose. I doubt he’ll be anywhere near Bells defensively, but he certainly seems to swing a decent bat. Now - can he do it in the majors? That remains to be seen. For the numbers I’ve been seeing around Bells’ offers, I’d still take a flyer on him for his D alone. If his bat comes back around - bonus. Somebody might be getting the bargain of the year. Only time will tell. GO DODGERS!!!

Somebody’s getting paid off. Wouldn’t surprise me one iota if those cheques are coming from the Turd. The evidence against her case, including the recently released video of her uninjured, laying next to him and smirking should have resulted in immediate dismissal. GO DODGERS!!!

I looked up Judge Selna as best I could. There wasn't a lot.
He's 77 years old. He seems to have settled around the Orange County / Newport Beach area. He worked the case when Toyotas were suddenly accelerating. He represented the NFL as a lawyer when the Raiders wanted to move here. He seems to be held in high regard.
Of course that doesn't say anything about the potential to be corrupted.

Bauer’s attorneys will certainly be looking to appeal that decision as it is clear that the injuries she supposedly sustained that night before were as fictitious as her entire story and claims. Now I'm thinking that her being allowed to continue the countersuit will halt the arbitrators decision next month.

Do we change the thread title or start a new one? Start a new on on 1/1/23; think this might be the second largest topic in pages on the board only eclipsed by UnPresidential. GO DODGERS!!!

Maybe also sign Jake DeGrom. He might get hurt and if he does, we'll have a golden oppurtunity to promote PepperMan, Miller or Stone.

Swanson is a solid player. Not spectacular. I bet he gets no more than 120 million dollars. That's Trea's next contract transposed. If we're going to pursue a pitcher, I prefer Rodon. We would be gaining a premier starter & taking him away from a divisional rival at the same time. Friedman will find some more relievers off the scrap heap. Maybe re-up Ginger at a discount.
