This has gone on FAR to long. It’s more than obvious to most of us that the Turd has a major woody for TB and would prefer he never steps foot on a MLB mound again. The appeal was filed MONTHS ago after nearly two years of hemming and hawing over paid leave and finally the suspension. We have heard not a single word about when this appeal will be reviewed and judged. RIDICULOUS!!!
I really wish the Turd would just come out and do what we all know he wants and that is to ban him for life. At least at that point TB could file a grievance with the players union as well as a suit against MLB to get his job back. I’d LOVE to see him take a couple hundred mil out of their coffers and see how THEY like being screwed over like he has been for the last two years. It’s not just enough that the dude has completely had his rep destroyed by a vengeful little harlot who accomplished EXACTLY what she set out to do. MLB has gone COMPLETELY overboard in making TB an “example”, even against overwhelming evidence to the contrary. FREE TREVOR BAUER!!! GO DODGERS!!! For all intents and purposes, Trevor is done as a Dodger. Yes of course he got the shaft but we must move on. Not to sound insensitive, but our pitching didn't suffer at all since his suspension but come on, he should still be on our roster, or some other team's. I thought he was released from the team once the suspension was announced so 34 mill was freed up. But he has his own youtube channel with lots of videos, but many of them are of him pitching to stay in shape when he's reinstated. Kobe got better treatment than this! FREE TREVOR, BANN MANFRED!!! Appearantly he isn't getting a dime from the Dodgers while on suspension. The thing for me is that there is no certainty that he won't win his appeal therefore restraining the payroll for this year. What if the Dodgers go out and get a couple of expensive guys and he gets reinstated in the spring or a month in the team will be on the hook for all of his money.

As an alternate to a permanent ban, this might be EXACTLY what the Turd would like to see happen. He certainly doesn’t seem to be a fan of the Dodgers any more than that of Bauer. Imagine the additional “luxury tax” dividends this could result in. I can see the Turd right now sitting behind his old tape adding machine like Ebenezer Scrooge grinning from ear to ear. GO DODGERS!!!

I said before that MLB, & not the Dodgers, should be on the hook for Bauer's salary, & stick to that. Whether the Dodgers wanted Trevor after the story broke is immaterial now. Manfred made it impossible for our team to use him. Why should the Dodgers be stuck paying for a player MLB suspended?
Ginger is hinting in the press he might not mind playing for the Mets. Good luck?

Dusty Baker is supposed to get an extension now. Congratulations. You were a good leftfielder for the Dodgers.

Blake Treinen likely to have surgery. Both his rotator cuff & labrum are possibilities. He's getting paid next year either way. The Dodgers inexplicably extended him this past season.

I'm hearing that they're going to extend the qualifying offers to both Anderson and Trea. That's sensible. I don't think neither will accept it but at least they'll get picks out of it. Trea seems interested in going to Phillie and I not sure about Anderson but it's a win- win if he comes back for a year or even leaves. They are still rumored in on Correa but the sticking point is his 2017 tenure with the Asstros and how our fan base will receive him. Whatever, our base is forgiving, he'll get some boos at first and once he starts hitting and throwing guys out they'll forget. Gnomes said that they're not looking to have a set closer so there might go my Kershaw to closer proposition and they're also trying to work out the money for JT to come back.

Don't think Kershaw would consider being a closer. He has had, at times, issues in early innings resulting in runs before settling in to his groove. Plus it’s a completely different animal mentally and while Kersh seems to be as tough as they come in that area, I don’t know if he could do it on a daily / semi-daily basis. I’d love to see both Anderson and Trea back, but I think both are long shots at best. I could do without Correa, but if he’s our best shot at securing SS for a few years, so be it. GO DODGERS!!!

If forced to choose, I would take Anderson over Turner. He could be had for less money & fewer years. His turnaround with LA might be for real. He was a stud.
Kershaw took less money to return to the Dodgers. He has to have an ego though. He's very close to 200 wins. Something he can easily reach as a starter.

Trea & Mookie win Silver Sluggers. Somewhere in (hee hee) Long Island panic is probably staring longingly into their poster eyes and polishing his knob.
GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers declined JT's option.I bet they resign him for less.
I don't believe for a second they're considering Correa. If they were gonna spend on a SS then it would be Trea, but he's on his way east, Philly from what it sounds like. Get ready for Lux to get the job

That means on a one year deal for substantially less.

Kershaw coming back for another year, per Ken Rosenthal and ESPN ticket.
Dollars not yet known / revealed. Looks like this might be his final hurrah. Sure would be nice to get him another ring.
Daisy will unfortunately prevent that from happening.
GO DODGERS!!!

Well, too bad for us. Blake is a great pitcher for sure. But on the bright side, it makes it more likely that one of our great prospects, Miller, Pepperman and Stone will be promoted to fill in his spot, to ease into the bigs in the pen. One will be in the rotation if we don't resign the Meany but what do we do with the third? Since Gavin Stone didn't pitch at AAA for too long, they might elect to keep him there for the time being. I'd hate to see one of them dealt to another team. But then again, remember Luke Hocheaver! The Red Sox need pitching badly. I wonder if they'd consider trading Alex Verdugo back to us? I've always liked him.

Yeah, after hearing Gnomes say that they're not stuck on one single closer I sense that one of those guys might head to the pen and that they might be down with someone like Phillips closing.
