Dodgers declined JT's option.I bet they resign him for less. I don't believe for a second they're considering Correa. If they were gonna spend on a SS then it would be Trea, but he's on his way east, Philly from what it sounds like. Get ready for Lux to get the job I think Lux is plan Z if all others fail. I don't have an issue with that but if so I'd like to see Dookie play 2nd, seems there are outfielders that are up and coming.

I HATED every time Daisy let him play there last year and REALLY find him more suitable and defensively productive in the outfield. GO DODGERS!!!

GO DODGERS!!! It would be a shame to waste Mookie's arm at second base. It's fun watching opposing baserunners forget who's fielding the ball.

if we don't sign trea, Xander Bogaerts is available, and while we're at it bring back Kike Hernandez, sure could have used him last month

You guys, Jr and nono, have good points. My opinion is that there are so many guys that can hit and play outfield (there might be a couple down in the minors already) vs guys that can hit at an all star clip and play 2nd. But if they sign a short stop I want Correa if they go with Lux they might go with Taylor and Busch at 2.

His range is somewhat limited and he doesn’t have the greatest or most accurate arm, as we saw in more than a few of his throws from second. He’s also not very tall and I don’t know what, if any leaping abilities he has, not that that is a huge factor. Davey Lopes wasn’t exactly Shaq. But some of those line drives that might be snagged by a taller SS would probably be singles to left. They should have extended Trea when they got him. Money and long term stability usually will outweigh desire to play “closer to home”. Just ask Kershaw. GO DODGERS!!!

We would be placing 5'-9" Mookie Betts at second. I agree about Lux's range & arm though. No way he can compete with Turner there.

He always looked a bit shorter than that to me and closer to Muncy and Ginger than Trea. Certainly would have never guessed he was only an inch shorter than me. GO DODGERS!!!

Oh and Puig can go to hell. Glad he is never sniffing the majors again.

Oh and Puig can go to hell. Glad he is never sniffing the majors again. Kinda makes a person wonder about all those burglaries at Puig's house. He was buried under a mountain of gambling debt. Maybe he should be investigated for insurance fraud.

Howdy fellas. how go things? Wanted to check in earlier but wasn't sure how you all felt about that epic 111 game season collapse. Took it about the same way as the previous shortcomings and still feel Daisy and Frogman will continue to get us there only to fall short. They simply refuse to accept that they cannot rely on their Bible of Analytics when it comes to October and neither has a clue when it comes down to critical decisions in the postseason. We will not win another title as long as the puppet and his master remain in their current positions, which seems to be infinite eternity based on the ownership group. GO DODGERS!!!

I agree about Lux's range & arm though. No way he can compete with Turner there. What's wrong with that? Dave Lopes was also 5'9" and Joe Morgan was 5'8". And you might remember Freddy Patek who was 5'4". What does that matter anyhow?
