"My take....
Fuck the dodgers and anyone who roots for them."
-------------------------------------------------
We must still be dirty & too dark complexioned. Those were their standard putdowns. Bet they rooted for the Lakers though. They always had that hypocrisy happening too.

I just think they are upset that they have arguably the game's best player, have dumped tons in free agency and still finish under 500. THey have not developed a pitcher worth a damn in a LONG Time!

"Dodgers are only one win away from having an asterisk being placed on their 2020 World Series. 60 games is way too small of a sample size. No other World Series champs have ever played less than 100 games in the regular season that they won it all. Getting to play in the same ballpark for like 15 straight games in the postseason. That will never happen again."
Anything to make themselves feel better I guess. LOL
Then there is this gem from Angelstesticle...I mean Angesloracle
"Dogs, with a win tomorrow night, get the unenviable recognition of winning a WS title in the two shortest seasons in the modern era (1981, 2020).
They still have none after 1988 and only ONE after 1965."
Bitter much? Wow. this coming from a fan of a team that is paying Albert 30 million next year at age 49 lol.

The shortened season meant they didn't have the opportunity to lose 100 games. I'd be bitter too. At least they got their money's worth out of Josh Hamilton. Ran into him last week. He sleeps in a dumpster out back. Why does he always smell like cat piss?

Are they still paying Vernon Wells and Garry Mathews Jr?

Are they still paying Vernon Wells and Garry Mathews Jr? The mistakes they made were the stuff of legends. Screwing with Torii Hunter. Saying they didn't have enough money to re-sign him. Then they went out & got Josh Hamilton for $125,000,000. Who couldn't see a relapse happening for Josh? Hunter still had a couple productive seasons left in him. Passing on Greinke after trading Jean Segura to get him. Battle of LA? Then how could you let us have Zack? They would have been better off rolling the dice with Kendrys Morales. But they outbid the world for Pujols. 10 years to a guy most people believed was older than his listed age. It's fairly obvious now he was roiding in St. Louis. Once he got the money there was no motive to continue cheating. CJ Wilson getting $60,000,000. Trading Mike Napoli for Vernon Wells. Then the Blue Jays flipped Napoli to division rival Texas. The Rangers won the division that very same year & Napoli ripped the Halos a new one. No way Moreno could have fucked his team up more if that was his intent. Everything Stoneman built was thrown out the window. I feel really bad for Trout.

Angels Agree to Terms with Perry Minasian
The Angels today announced that Perry Minasian has agreed to terms on a four-year contract to become the 13th General Manager in franchise history. He will oversee all aspects of the Club's Baseball Operations Department. As per club policy, no additional details of the contract will be announced.
"After an expansive process we are thrilled to announce Perry as our General Manager," said Angels Owner Arte Moreno. "His background in scouting and player development along with his unique understanding of roster construction were the leading factors in our decision. We are proud to welcome Perry, his wife Michelle, and their four children to the Angels family."

Iglesias is a decent defensive shortstop but far from Simmons in all other categories. This points that they will spend the money elsewhere.
