Higher WAR. Better wOBA. Better OPS+. So that's what you term as citing a stat? I mentioned stats. But okay, fine, you can have that one. I'm not going to argue semantic with you since that would most definitely be a battle of futility. Question now becomes, how are those obscure stats? They are mainstream and used by virtually everyone in baseball. So why do you term them obscure? ***I will just stop here.*** Will you? Really? ***It's not even worth it to respond to the rest of the faulty gibberish in this post.*** You are pure comedy. Made even funnier by the fact that you either don't see that so many are simply laughing at you or don't care that you're a laughing stock. You should have stopped there: "you can have that one." You should have taken your loss once AGAIN and moved on. I rather be that then you who is full of fabrications and is being discredited repeatedly by someone like me who is "laughed" at. Poor child. It's no fun anymore beating you. Go look me up some stats now for a possible later attempt.

There's always been questions of Albert's true age as well. That there has. I personally believe he is the age stated, but I obviously have no objective data to back that.

I'll take that. Thanks. BTW: How'd you get that on BRef.? And where'd you get the graph in your next post? BR lets us click on two rows and it will sum/average all the data from the first row clicked to the other. e.g. in a game log, one could click on game 38 and game 66 and find out the totals and averages for that player from game 38 to game 66. I made the Pujols Gonzo OPS+ graph in Excel. Took a screen shot to put up here. I like this new forum compared to the MLB because we can put up stuff like that. I hated that we could put up a graphic or table in the other.

The Excel graphing I am familiar with. Just wondered if you'd found that particular graph done somewhere. Guess you did it yourself. Cool.

Hi Hunter, Yes. BR is great. Has a lot of things that can be done. More than I know.
I seriously think the guy who made baseball Reference should win the Nobel Peace Prize
I know Fangraphs less well. I need to explore that.

I need to explore that. Fangraphs I know a little better. I really like their site. And I parallel with much of what they believe. But as I said, I'm going to have to find some time to delve a little deeper with BRef.
