It will take a lot of work to catch the rockies, but i have faith in roberts and the owners of the team, to get it done. then maybe we can get a new group of owners who aren't a bunch of woke punks, who lick mens butt holes, and make fun of 90% of their fan baseAnd what irony that they're the very ones who tell others to keep their morality to themselves? They make the players wear that pride flag on their jerseys and caps. If that's not forcing, will someone kindly explain to me what it is?

The Dodgers are 98-60 / .620 & in 1st place by 14.0 games. They're 41.0 games out of last place. The Padres (consensus preseason pick to be the Dodgers' biggest rivals in the NL West) trail the Dodgers by 19.5 games. LA's record is the third best in MLB. The Braves are 102-56, & the Orioles are 99-59.
Four games to go. Just go 2-2 & they win 100.

Is it just me or does this Dodger team look a bit lackadaisical so far this year?
I haven’t seen too many games, but the ones I have were about as exciting and team enthusiastic as watching paint dry.
It’s almost as if they think they are as good on paper as they are on the field, which I think we can all agree hasn’t been the case thus far.
And Daisybot hasn’t shown anything more than his standard “meh” face whether they’re up or down by ten runs.
The pitching has been very middle of the road with the pen already blowing a number of games.
The high powered offense of the “big three” has had its moments, but cannot seem to sustain that momentum more than a game or two.
Losses this early in the year to subpar teams like the Baby Bears, Stains and Nats may not seem to matter to some.
But when it gets to crunch time and LA is in a battle for the division or a wild card (God forbid!), those early season winnable losses will be a factor.
I have tix to all three games here in Cincy late next month and I sure as hell hope they play better here this year than last.
They were up big time in both the opener and middle game and ended up losing both. It took Kershaw on Sunday to even salvage the one series win.
And I don’t think Kersh is going to be available for this late May matchup.
C’mon, LA - start playing like “every game is YOUR World Series”.
Otherwise, it’s going to be another October of excuses from the two boobs and HUGE disappointment from the fans and owners who spent that billion.
GO DODGERS!!!

Are we still being weaned off Lasorda? These athletes are worth tens of millions of dollars. Their contracts are guaranteed. How might they react to a rah-rah guy in the dugout? Shoot. I heard Bill Russell didn't think a lot of Tommy. Lasorda later backstabbed him too. So there's that. The rumors must have had some meat to them. It's the middle of April. No. This isn't Eric Karros in disguise. But we go through this every year. Buehler is about back. That has to be a big lift.

No. This isn't Eric Karros in disguise. But we go through this every year. Buehler is about back. That has to be a big lift. Very true. But LA’s lineup from five or six down has been a COMPLETE ZERO dating back to most, if not ALL of last years. There has to be some adjustment there and soon, or the Dodgers are going to find themselves looking up to more than the Stains. Taylor has gone to complete shit since he got that nice hefty overpaid contract. Rojas, Kiké, Outdoorman, Lutz - all HUGE disappointments thus far. Heyward on the IL, but not really expecting much more from him than Maxine other than perhaps another forty or fifty points on his BA. And what can we say about Munster that hasn’t already been said? He’ll K a LOT, especially with RISP, hit a lot of meaningless solo HR’s and will occasionally win LA a game with his bat, while losing or costing them a few with his glove and arm. Oh still has MUCH to prove he is worth the $700 mil he will eventually receive. And the gambling distractions he brought with him are certainly a factor, even with his innocence. LA has been touted as a dynasty favoured to win it all for pretty much the last decade. It’s time they start playing like one and fulfilling that legacy. GO DODGERS!!!

Let's just throw a hypothetical scenario out there. Say the Dodgers win two of the next four World Series. They don't have to appear in the other two. They would have appeared in the World Series in 2017, 18, 20, 24, & say...26. They would have won the Series three times. 2020, 24 & 26. Appeared in five of ten. Maybe they win the division in 2027 & peter out again. I would call that a dynasty. The Dodgers were in the running every year. They won three world championships in ten years. Every spring 30 teams are vying for a title. Yes, the Dodgers have deeper pockets. We're acting like they should be penalized for that. I grew up a Lakers fan when getting owned by the Celtics in the Finals was like the Brooklyn Dodgers getting their lunch money taken away by the Yankees every fall. The Lakers appeared in nine Finals during the Magic years. They won five. Blew one outright the year Kevin McHale clotheslined Kurt Rambis. I was so disappointed they pussed out like that. A big part of our history is misery. 1962. Sandy Koufax gets hurt & the Giants overtake the Dodgers. The Dodgers blow a three game playoff. 1973. Their infamous 'June Swoon,' losing to the mighty Reds. 1978, when Reggie Jackson 'accidentally' leaned into Bill Russell's throw. Tom Niedenfuer giving away the 1985 NLCS. We're defined by suffering & the occasional triumph. Tommy Lasorda has somehow managed to enter Dodger lore as this big winner. Two championships in 20 years. No wild card to navigate past most of those years. He managed consecutive 73-89 seasons. The 1992 Dodgers went 63-99. They didn't win a single playoff GAME (let alone series) after 1988. That's why we were stuck looking at grainy footage of Kirk Gibson's homerun for 32 years. I got sick of it. I'm happy we got rid of Peter O'Malley. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy who wasn't keeping pace with a changing landscape. He was hypersensitive about not being allowed to get an NFL franchise. Well, EXCUSE ME!! (Nod to Steve Martin.). Then we got stuck with the Boston Grifter. Dude started out with a parking lot & milked the Dodgers for every dime he could get. The only solace in that was he made Bud Selig sweat. Mark Walter is the best sports owner LA has had since Jerry Buss. Buss was the best since WALTER O'Malley. Let's try to enjoy some of this.

Mark Walter is the best sports owner LA has had since Jerry Buss. Buss was the best since WALTER O'Malley. Let's try to enjoy some of this. I’d 100% agree that winning two more in the next four years would definitely put LA in the “dynasty” position or conversation. But it remains to be seen if they can pull that off and even with the teams Walter has assembled and paid more money for than any franchise in the history of the league, there are still two HUGE factors that can and will influence those titles. Namely Roberts and Friedman. I know, I know - they cannot control players slumping at the wrong time or injuries or other factors of the game. But their sole reliance on analytics has proven ineffective despite having arguably the best team on paper in MLB most of the last decade. There is absolutely ZERO fire in Daisy’s game or attitude and even though Lasorda is considered by many as overrated for only winning two titles, at least we all knew he bled blue and cared more about this team than probably anything else other than pasta. He had and showed emotion day in and day out. And let’s face it - it was harder to win a title back then than now. There were fewer teams and better players who LA was competing against. They were in a division fight with the Reds more years than I can remember. And while LA had Cey, Russell, Lopes and Garvey, the Reds countered with Rose, Concepcion, Morgan and Perez. I still bleed blue with the best of them, but I just don’t see them winning another title as long as the Puppetmaster and his protégé are pulling the strings. I was never a fan of the hire and nine years has not changed that. Look at a guy like Bochy. Took the Stains to their only WS, won three in SF and turned around and got Texas their first title in franchise history. He obviously has a good deal more time on the job than Roberts, but he’s also learned what does and doesn’t work to win titles. Daisy is said to be a well liked “players” manager, but you know what they say about nice guys and where they finish. Free agency and the money even mediocre players make these days has turned most of them into elitist prima donnas who care more about their bank accounts than the game itself. Guys like Sparky Anderson, Lou Pinella, Whitey Herzog (RIP) - they’d be considered dinosaurs these days. But they certainly know how and when to motivate and get the best out of their players at the right times. It’s a shame the way the game has changed over the last few decades. But like everything else, it’s all about that mighty dollar that has and will continue to turn it into something we may not even recognize. GO DODGERS!!!

WTF - Barnes SUCKS SO BAD!!! Cruz with two more SB and another run scored.
Down 4 - 0 to a bunch of scrub AAA players and pitchers.
LA should be embarrassed. Doubt they come back from this one.

Billy Sheehan underwent surgery and is done for the year. Another pitcher expected to contribute this year is toast.
Shitty Reds do a number to LA, as expected. Avoided shut out, but still lost to a very bad team.
Couldn’t get De La Cruz out and he ran on them ALL night. Took a perfect throw from Barnes to finally gun him down at second.
Guessing he’ll take four out of five steals every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
LA better find a way to keep him off the bases or they very easily could go 1 - 6 against the Reds in the next two weeks instead of the other way around.

What the hell did they wait so long for? Same reason they ALWAYS do - shitty doctors and diagnoses. Remember when they tried to fix Billingsley with plaetlets for over a year? And then ended up doing the surgery he should have had? Dude had SO much potential and never was the same. Seems like I remember them waiting for surgery on both Buehler and May and probably even Kershaw more than once. And Train Wreck. Worst physician staff in the league. GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers are 17.0 games out of last place.
They beat the Yankees at their own game tonight. Pitching.
