It’s a good thing we have the Snakes & Rox to provide us a cushion that will likely prevent us from having the opportunity to move into the NL West basement.

The Vulture once again makes things interesting. You just have to wonder how many times he can continue to put runners on in the ninth and not have them come back to bite him in the ass.

Dodgers are 19.0 games out of last place. Colorado & Arizona are battling for that honor. The Dodgers are tied with the Astros for the second best record in baseball, at 56-29 / .659. The Yankees hold the top spot at 61-25 / .709. The Dodgers' pace projects out to a remarkable similar to 2021 record of 107-55.

Ooh Ooh Rius throws another gem, despite some early inning struggles and fifty pitches to get through the first three.
Amazing how our offense can knock Sandy out of a game early with six runs less than a week ago and then lay a HUGE egg against the same guy last night.
Then turn around and put another ten spot on the board today. What a crazy game!
GO DODGERS!!!

Oddsmakers are still predicting Dodgers beating the Blue Jays in the WS. Remember the comeback years 1985 and 2018? Plenty of drama in both seasons. It's way too early to throw in the towel. JRGREENE doesn't have much confidence in this year's team.
At this point at least, it looks like the Monks have gotten the short end of the stick in trading for Juan Soto. He's hitting at about the Mendoza line with an OPS of .736, and though he homered last nite and walked three times, last nite was a bad one for pitchers, both starters and relievers.

Dodgers are 27-15 / .643. That's 9.0 games out of last place. They have the second best record in the majors. Behind only the amazing Tampa Bay Rays, who are 31-11 / .738, despite losing two of the best starters in the game. The Padres are currently 20-22 / .476. I wonder what JRGREENE thinks now? He's said that this team doesn't have the motivation of such teams as in '18, '85 and '78.
