I’m noticing the seats behind home plate (which I’m sure are season ticket holders) seem to be switching off every other game. Mary Hart and her crew not there tonight, but were there last night.
I’m guessing with the “social distancing” rules those holders were only offered tickets to every other game but I have to wonder if they got any type of discount for only half the games. Survey says . . . DOUBTFUL!

13-3. Still 9.0 games out of last place. The Rockies are just off to a putrid start. I always think of Tommy John when I see 13-3. That's a winning percentage of .813. Why Tommy John? That was his record in 1974, before he got hurt. He would have won 20 for sure that year. Then he had that famous surgery & came back to win 20 games 3 times. The trades the Dodgers made back then rival what Friedman is doing now. Dick Allen was a tremendous talent, but you just never knew what he was going to do. I think at one point he retired from the White Sox. Chuck Tanner had to go beg him to come back. We got Mike Marshall for Willie Davis. Jimmy Wynn for Claude Osteen. Burt Hooton for Geoff Zahn. Reggie Smith for Joe Ferguson. We later got Joe back. Jerry Reuss for Rick Rhoden. Pedro Guerrero for Bruce Ellingsen. You'd think after a while rival GM's would have stopped answering the phone.  |

What would a game be without us once again leaving the bases loaded without scoring? And Ferris gives up a lead off double to start the inning after the boys stake him to a two run lead for the second time this game. Let’s see if he can hold it this time.
Another bullet and the lead is cut in half. Plus we still have the pen to look forward to.

If the freakin rockies would just start winning, we could over take last place within a week.Pretty sure it will be a battle to the end with the rockies.
