Fuck you. The horse you rode in on. And your dogmatic lefty on lefty matchups. 7-5 Dodgers.
Teoscar with a double down the leftfield line! 8-5 Dodgers.

Dodgers' Joe Kelly: Logs second rehab outing Rotowire 5 HRS AGO Kelly (shoulder) tossed one scoreless inning, during which he allowed a hit and a walk while striking out one batter, in a rehab appearance with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday.
Kelly had a bit of trouble finding the strike zone -- seven of his 13 pitches were balls -- and he allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base via a single and a walk. However, the veteran reliever followed with a strikeout before inducing an inning-ending double play to escape without allowing any runs. Kelly has tossed two scoreless frames through two rehab outings with the Single-A Quakes. It's not clear how many more minor-league appearances he'll be asked to make before being activated from the injured list, but there appears to be a good chance that he'll be back in Los Angeles' bullpen before the All-Star break.
Dodgers' Miguel Vargas: Goes yard in win Rotowire 14 HRS AGO Vargas went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Brewers.
Vargas has two multi-hit efforts over nine games since he was called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on June 17. In that span, he's gone 9-for-22 (.409) with four RBI. The 24-year-old is slashing .333/.396/.571 with two homers, eight RBI, nine runs scored, four doubles and a stolen base over 48 plate appearances this season. Vargas could see an uptick in playing time due to Jason Heyward (knee) landing on the injured list, which could force Teoscar Hernandez to play right field on a full-time basis in the short term.
Dodgers' Will Smith: Pummels three homers Rotowire 14 HRS AGO Smith went 3-for-3 with three solo home runs, two walks and four total runs scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Brewers.
Smith hit just two homers in June, so he's already off to a fantastic start in July. The catcher went to the opposite field for his first-inning blast before pulling his solo shots in the third and seventh innings. Smith is up to a .276/.349/.502 slash line with 14 homers, 53 RBI, 45 runs scored, 18 doubles and one triple over 73 contests this season.
Dodgers' Evan Phillips: Locks down 14th save Rotowire 14 HRS AGO Phillips struck out the side to earn the save in Friday's 8-5 win over the Brewers.
Phillips needed just 12 pitches (nine strikes) to set the Brewers down in order to protect a three-run lead. It's an encouraging sign, as he had allowed a run in each of his last two outings. Phillips is up to 14 saves and one hold through 26.2 innings this season, and he's maintained a strong 2.03 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB.
Dodgers' Tyler Glasnow: Second straight poor start Rotowire 14 HRS AGO Glasnow allowed five runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Friday.
All of the damage came in the fourth inning between a Willy Adames RBI single and a Rhys Hoskins grand slam. Glasnow has allowed five runs in back-to-back starts, though he's avoided the loss in both of those outings. For the season, he has a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB through 109 innings over 18 starts. He's projected to make his next start at Detroit rather than Philadelphia due to the Dodgers inserting Justin Wrobleski into the rotation for a spot start Sunday.

Dodger pitching is a royal mess right now. Especially starters. They have a collective ERA of well over 7 since Yamaha went down, even Gavin's shutout. As Vinny used to say, "Christian Walker is public enemy #1", and why not, he hit 5 bombs in 3 games! Even the Judge doesn't hit Dodger pitching that hard. The rotation has surrendered far too many homers and the bullpen has had a hard time getting the 3rd out after getting the first 2 hitters out. Then, the next 4 or 5 batters reach base.
But the all star break is almost here and the entire pitching staff can reflect and pull themselves together.

3-1 Dodgers in the 2nd. Smith hit another homer. His 15th. He's been on a tear.
