Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Goes deep in loss Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Taylor went 1-for-3 with a homer and walk in Friday's 6-3 loss to Arizona.
It's the second homer of the season for Taylor, and it came in the fourth inning off an ineffective Madison Bumgarner. The versatile infielder/outfielder has shown some power in the early portion of the calendar, but is hitting just .143 over six appearances.
Dodgers' James Outman: Homers again in loss Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Outman went 1-for-3 with a homer in Friday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Outman connected on a solo homer in the second off Madison Bumgarner to make it 2-1 Dodgers. That's the second homer of the season for the rookie outfielder, and he's already driven in seven runs. Outman is hitting an unsustainable .350/.519/.850 in the young year, but it's hard to not be impressed with what the 25-year-old has done to open the campaign.
Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Gives up four to ARI in loss Rotowire 11 HRS AGO Kershaw (1-1) took the loss Friday while allowing four runs in six innings on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts against the Diamondbacks.
Kershaw gave up a run in the first and third and then allowed two homers in the sixth. The southpaw threw 58 of 91 pitches for strikes in a so-so effort at best. Kershaw will take a 3.75 ERA into a start that's scheduled for next week in San Francisco.

So Outman has reached base in 7 of 8 games so far. The one he missed was a 10-1 blowout. Thompson started that game. Outman came in late & didn't get a plate appearance.

Muncy needs an elongated IL stint. I'm still pissed at him for not getting surgery as soon as it happened. Then Friedman rewarded him with an extension.

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Remains out vs. D-Backs Rotowire 3 HRS AGO Rojas (groin) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Rojas continues to sit as he recovers from a left groin injury. Chris Taylor will get the start at shortstop with James Outman in left field and Jason Heyward patrolling center.
