Look at this shit. The Boys of Summer won one championship. ONE. When the Dodgers moved to LA, they first had an aging roster of guys like Gil Hodges & Duke Snider. But they still had a couple speedy guys. They beat the White Sox. In 1963, they swept the Yankees. They beat the Twins in 1965. Maury Wills, Willie Davis, Jim Gilliam, Tommy Davis. In the 1970's they had Davey Lopes. He was about the only one running on that team. They won ONE championship. In 1981. The next time was 1988. Outside of Kirk Gibson, that team was populated by role players.
Now we have this powerhouse & have ONE championship. Max Muncy bats .200 with 30+ homers.
To the bullpen already.
