""""17.5 million dollars for one year. It's hard to believe that's all guaranteed for Cody. """""""" Is weed legal in chicago ? It is not. But I don’t imagine that will be an issue. I’d be more worried about drive-bys and that Wild West show downtown Chi-Town has become than scoring a little ganj if I was Bells. GO DODGERS!!! Yeah, weed is everywhere nowadays. But what are you talking about. It's all fear mongering. That's why the FBI reported 400,000 people purchasing guns on black friday alone, hello!

It’s not fear mongering when there are 35 - 40 shootings each and every weekend in the Windy City, which is not being reported nationally but we hear about it here in the Midwest with Chi Town only a five or six hour drive away. I had two cousins that lived there and they said they got out when the gettin’ was good. From what I have heard and read, the Michigan Avenue retail district is a ghost town with boarded up windows and businesses fleeing like crazy. When Bulldog was posting here, he said it was just as bad, if not worse in NYC. Not enough money in the world that would get me to visit either of those two major cities these days, even though I’ve been to both a number of times and loved them and what they offered during those visits and business trips. GO DODGERS!!!

The Red Sox give Kenley Jansen two years & 32 million dollars. Why? The Vulture still has some scavenging to do, apparently and the owners seem to think that money does indeed grow on trees. Problem is - once the product on the field begins to suck and people start spending their money and time on something else, they’re ALL going to be effed. Look no further than NASCAR. 20 or so years ago it was booming and you couldn’t even get a ticket for most of the races. Nowadays, the stands are a quarter full, owners can’t find sponsors for their cars and drivers are leaving or being forced off of long time teams. I’m sure this is why MLB is looking to allow sponsors on their uniforms, much like the NBA already does. But there’s only so many companies out there that can pony up that kind of scratch annually and when they run out, owners are going to be scrambling for a way to meet those outrageous nuts they put themselves into. GO DODGERS!!!

'Dodgers' on the front. 'Chico's Bail Bonds' on the back. Classic.
These owners are worse than drunken sailors on shore leave. So AJ Preller thought Aaron Judge in a Padres uniform would look cool. Never mind Machado, Tatis, Soto, Musgrove & the fact they still need a shortstop.

@jonheyman Red Sox are in heavy discussions with star shortstop Xander Bogaerts They're saying Correa to the Gnats so that leaves Dansby. And, it's thought the Cards will get Dansby. I don't Correa wants to go lose in Fisco but if so Lux or a trade then.

Gonna be a very different team this year full of prospects...

Last time I was in LA for the ‘18 World Series, I was AMAZED how much it had changed since we were there in 2011. The homeless compounds and camps were literally EVERYWHERE. We stayed at the VERY ritzy and expensive Omni Hotel, but within less than a block and then everywhere else we walked you couldn’t go two feet without tripping over someone laying on the ground or sidewalk. The Metro was just about as bad, with dozens of them at every stop and then walking up Hollywood Boulevard - well, you probably already know. Sad what this country has become. And the ditch we’re digging is getting deeper and deeper. GO DODGERS!!!

I wonder who the Reds could sucker into this deal? Probably Skyline Chili, one of our mainstays. GO DODGERS!!!
