All this talk about a $300-400 million contract for him, upcoming potential signings of Kersh/Seag/Belli, the still fouled up situation with local broadcasting of games, and the new CBA/competitive tax situation, sure seems to have HUGE $$$$ dominating the sport rather than simply enjoying watching our Dodgers and MLB. Too much emphasis placed on financial manuevering. Change. Sure not simple anymore.

We have alot of outfield depth but man oh man would Harper look good in Dodger Blue. It's a tough one. He WOULD look good in Dodger blue. And 26 years old next season? Sign him up!

I'd rather lockup Bellinger and/or Seager with some of that money. I don't see the front office spending that much on one guy. They are too smart for that. Someone less intelligent will do it on another team. Getting Harper guarantees nothing. Bellinger and Seager are years away from free agency. One has nothing to do with the other right now.

Maybe Kershaw gets tired of spinning gems and the Dodgers getting him zero run support. j/k I know this season is an anomaly for what usually happens. Just wondering: who would Clayton blame for his blowing a 4-0 lead in the WS? Every team has streaks of scoring lots of runs and also not scoring, so I really dont' think so. It was a joke dude. Clayton is not going anywhere.

Personally, I want the Dodgers to sign Harper. Now I will understand if they don’t, but I will be disappointed if we don’t pursue him. We have the money, we have a need at the position, and he grew up fairly close to LA and still lives in Vegas in the off season. He is a good fit.

Me too, but he's going to stay in Washington or go to the Yankees, IMO. The Dodgers have an outside shot, but I don't like their chances.

I don’t see him going to the Yankees; I understand they have the DH but i don’t think they are going to commit a ton of money to 3 corner OFers. Also, why do you think the Dodgers only have an outside shot? Do you just think they flat out aren’t going to want to spend the money? The interest from Harper’s end will most definitely be there.

Yankees are more likely to sign Machado than Harper, though with Torreyes that'll be interesting. But yeah it just seems hard to believe they'll commit that much money to Harper when they have 2 corner outfielders already. Harper is not a Center Fielder.

I don't think Harper wants to be a Dodger and I don't think the Dodgers want to spend 400M on him and another 300M on Kershaw. I just think when it's all said and done, the Dodgers will re-sign Kersh and that will be their "big" move.

He's probably one of the top 3 players in the game. I'm with you. Bring on Bryce!!!

Have you spoken with him? his agent? His friends or family? Who told you that?

I just sense that he hates the Dodgers because they've been the Nationals' bitter rivals the last few seasons. I have also read that Harper grew up a Yankees fan so I know there could be interest there.

This statement alone shows everyone how little you know about baseball.

Got it!! so in other words, you're making a total wild guess which really isn't much of an "opinion" anyway.

Do you know him? His agent?
