This can be our starting roster with two major acquisitions. Hendriks is a free agent. Lindor would have to be traded for. The Dodgers have made it pretty clear Ruiz is available. Who else might be needed to land Lindor we have no way of knowing. Everyone would like to see Turner re-signed to a reasonable contract. I wouldn't go beyond two years guaranteed with an option based on plate appearances. Incentives for plate appearances too. We can use his potent bat in such a heavily lefthanded batting order. But Lindor would be valuable in any event. He's a switch hitter who does a little better from the right side.
Jansen & Kelly are crosses we'll just have to bear. Jansen falls off the payroll in 2021. Kelly gets 4 million dollars to go away. The Dodgers should save enough with Pederson, Turner, Baez, Hernandez, Treinen & Wood leaving to make this happen.
Smith / Barnes - C - R-R Seager / Rios / Muncy / Bellinger - 1B - L-L-L-L Lux / Muncy / Taylor - 2B - L-L-R Rios / Muncy / Beaty - 3B - L-L-L Lindor / Seager / Taylor - SS - B-L-R Pollock /Taylor - LF - R-R Bellinger / Pollock / Taylor - CF - L-R-R Betts / Taylor - RF - R-R
Kershaw - L Buehler - R Price - L May - R Urias - L
Graterol - R Jansen - R Floro - R Kolarek - L Gonzalez - L Kelly - R White - R Gonsolin - R Hendriks - R
We need a new closer.

I’d love to see them mix it up between Gatorade & Gonzo. Both throw in the triple digits and seem like they could handle the workload. But if I know the Dodgers, which is DUH - I’m guessing they’re going to dick around with Urias yet another season where he’ll be named as part of the rotation and then five or six starts in will once again find himself working out of the pen. Gotta feel for the kid as this has been their pattern since bringing him up. I’m not a huge fan of Price, but if he can eat some innings in the rotation which, with the exception of Kershaw we had a big problem with this season, he should work out fine. My biggest worry is with May and Buehler and their pitch counts reaching the 80’s and 90’s in just five or so innings of work. With the shortened season this year, luckily it didn’t kill our pen. But I’d be VERY leery of having to depend on the pen for three or four innings every two or three starts for 162 games. We already saw that movie and our chances of repeating would be certainly jeopardized in that scenario. Still waiting for delivery on a few 2020 WS Champs items - hoping they make it before Santa! Have a spot saved on our humongous live tree for the WS trophy ornament. GO DODGERS!!!

What a fucking thrill 2020 World Series was. I have bought so many shirts and memorabilia. This is only the beginning.
Got the DVD/Blu Ray- thought it was weak. Hope the book is better, the Seager shadow box should be awesome I think. Waiting for it to arrive,
Keep JT, Bauer is not a big deal, let’s get a bullpen.

I think 3/4 of what the wife got me for Christmas is WS related. One item I was bummed on was the Seager signed WS logo ball in the gold glove case. The ball I received was a “standard” Rawlings baseball with NO WS logo. I immediately contacted Fansedge & they advised the WS logo ball with his signature was not available. I ended up returning both and then re-ordered the case (empty) and an official Rawlings WS baseball. Hopefully I’ll be able to take it to a game next season and get Seager, Betts or Buehler (or maybe all three!) to sign it. GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Brandon Morrow: Lands invitation to spring training Rotowire 17 HRS AGO Morrow (elbow) signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports. Morrow didn't play in 2020 after undergoing a minor nerve procedure on his elbow in July. He should be healthy in time for spring training, and he'll get the chance to compete for a role in the Dodgers' talented bullpen as a non-roster invitee. The 36-year-old hasn't pitched in a game in the majors or minors since July of 2018. I"m still thinking that Kris Bryant would be a great fit for us at the hot corner. That position has been a real sticking point for us since the move to LA. The LA team didn't really have a full time 3Bman till Ron Cey, starting in '73 and since him, it's only been Adrian Beltre and Justin. It'll get more interesting as we near ST.

Unfortunately, Bryant would cost more in compensation than he's worth. And we would still have an injury prone, but premier hitter (Seager), playing an acrobatic position.

Dodgers' Tommy Kahnle: Agrees to two-year deal Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Kahnle (elbow) signed a two-year, $4.75 million contract with the Dodgers on Tuesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Kahnle will be unavailable for most or all of the 2021 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in August, but he reached a two-year deal with Los Angeles after parting ways with the Yankees at the end of October. The right-hander made 73 relief appearances over the last two seasons, posting a 3.61 ERA and 91:21 K:BB over 62.1 innings. Once Kahnle returns to full health, he should operate as a late reliever for the Dodgers.

Seems like a lot for a guy who won’t even play next year and for a pen that will need an addition or two in 2021. Wonder if and when they’ll start addressing the REAL needs of this team? Re-signing Turner or his replacement; extending Bells, Ferris and Seager? As much fun as 2020 was, I want a DYNASTY that will give us multiple titles over this new decade. A team others FEAR! A teams that can continue to overcome Daisy’s ineptitude. Is that asking too much after 45 years of fandom? I don’t think so. GO DODGERS!!!

He'll be a fine addition to our bullpen in '22 and beyond. A setup man?

Okay - so the wife loaded me up with Dodger World Series goodies, including the official Topps set of cards which included one player autograph.
I immediately figured I’d get some scrub who wouldn’t even be on the 2021 team. No way I’d get Seager or Buehler or Betts. I hate it when I’m right.
I got Alex Wood!

ALEX FREAKING WOOD!!! I would have even accepted The Vulture over Woodchuck! I think the set was limited to maybe only 1,000 or 1,500.
Thirty five cards & players in each. If each player signed an equal number of cards, that means out of the 30 - 35 sets Woodstock signed, I got one of them.
Just my freaking luck!
And I’m still waiting on my WS Trophy ornament that per tracking was attempted to be delivered twice (completely false) and was returned to seller.
MLB shop advising it is still in route and due by 1/13/21. No problems whatsoever on the other five orders. GEORGE IS GETTING UPSET!!!
GO DODGERS!!!
