Did he repeatedly punch her? I saw one hit to get her off him. The knock out part may have been when she hit her head on the elevator rail/wall. Again Ray Rice was not really wrong. He deserved to be punished though and it is never right to put hands on women.
But she apparently did not mind it so much since she kept going back for the money. She married him for the money. She was against him being suspended by the NFL because it would affect the money.

Bellinger went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's win over San Francisco.
Bellinger kicked off the scoring for Los Angeles with a 419-foot shot to right field in the second inning. The MVP front runner is slugging .303/.405/.628 with 47 homers, 115 RBI, 120 runs, 15 stolen bases, and a 1.033 OPS in 154 games this season. He leads the majors with a 8.8 WAR.

If Cody finishes the season in an 0-8 funk he'll bat .299 overall. Although that statistic doesn't carry the same weight it once did, I think I would sit him for the last game if he draws a collar today.

His contributions both on offense and defense are just too good to be overlooked, not to mention his versatility of playing both OF & 1B. Well, now he HAS to play! Three HR’s short of 50 - he can hit three in one game - I KNOW it! It would be EPIC to do it against the Pumpkins on their field.
Not to mention likely result in another win / season ending sweep and the BEST franchise record of all time. Again, against the Pumpkins on their field.
