It happens quite often. Twins almost blew a 7-0 lead yesterday. Braves blew a 3-0 lead. Saturday: Brewers blew a 5-0 lead. Mets blew a 4-0 lead. Friday: Giants blew a 5-0 lead.
Thursday: Snakes blew a 3-0 lead. Rockies blew a 8-5 lead.
Wednesday: Rangers blew a 3-0 lead. White Sox blew a 7-1 lead. Mets blew a 3-0 lead. Mets blew a 8-3 lead. Tuesday: Cards blew a 3-0 lead. Red Soc blew a 3-0 lead. Royals blew a 3-0 lead. Astros blew a 6-3 lead. Angels blew a 4-1 lead. Monday: Indians blew a 3-0 lead. Twins blew a 4-0 lead.
Like I said, it happens almost every day.
Other teams don't concern at all. This is about Joc Pederson who plays for the Dodgers. So it doesn't happen almost everyday on the 41- 19 NL West Division leading team.
Absurd nonsense. First you said I was "exaggererating" and then when proven wrong you move the goal posts. Seriously, don't be a dick.
Point is that HRs when up a couple runs are not "meaningless". And our bullpen for our 41-19 team has blown plenty of leads this year, I'm sure you have seen it.
This doesn't even include the games that we blew a lead and won. Smh...

That's 9 meaningless references out of 60 games played you angry dumb butthole. What does that have to do with Joc Pederson's homeruns lol. Again, it's always so hard for you to understand but this thread is about Joc Pederson and his homeruns for the Dodgers. SMH!

Again, it's always so hard for you to understand but this thread is about Joc Pederson and his homeruns for the Dodgers. SMH! You guys! I vaguely remember some unbelievable stat. Might have even been Steve Garvey. The Dodgers were something like 30-3 in games in which Garvey homered. Don't quote me on that. Just the premise is for sure. I wondered if Steve's homers were that important or he homered in situations where the outcome had already pretty much been decided. Or course with the arson squad we have in the bullpen this year, every run is important. I don't care if you're leading 8-0 when Joe Kelly enters the game. Run up the score. Squeeze if you have to. Some former cop gets a wet spot on his pants every time they do anyway. But I truly believe there's something to be said for guys who come through in clutch situations. The immediacy of a 3-2 or 2-1 game at the time. I was a bit surprised by the statistics presented here. Jocular doesn't strike me as a clutch player. Glad to find out I'm wrong.

Well you said the mighty Dodgers are 41-19, they don't blow leads. The proof tells us otherwise.
Like I said, MAYBE 2 of Joc's HR's were meaningless. At least 16 of them were meaningful. Don't dismiss HRs early in a game just because we have a 3 or 4 run lead. Leads disappear in this league virtually EVERY SINGLE DAY. That has been demonstrated for you here.
And a late HR to increase a 1 or 2 run lead is also extremely meaningful. Again, look at the performance of bullpens in this league, including ours.

Meant to address this yesterday. Here is the extent of his research. It's one click.
Just letting you know just in case you wanted to search in the future.

It's probably too late to turn him into a 1st baseman. Good point. However, the Dodgers' thinking might be, by the '21 season, to move Turner there, once our #1 draft pick, Kody Hoese, our #1 draft pick, is MLB ready. Mike Lowell, who was a pretty good 3B himself, predicts that Hoese will make the majors "sooner than later". So, our IF might be Turner/Lux/Seagar/Hoese. Let's keep close tabs on Hoese!

Ummm, show me where I said the bolded black PLEASE. To the red: I've already said that as part of my criteria for seeing what have been meaningful homeruns. Look at my first post and read it carefully if you missed it.

Turner's contract with the Dodgers is over next year, 2020. It's likely that if he wants to play another year they can give him the David Freese role and money to play some 1st base.

"So of the 12 first hit 8 were in what I consider garbage time which to me is not tying the score or putting the team up by 1- 2 runs or putting the team within 1- 2 runs of tying the score.
So extending a 2 run lead to 3 is considered garbage time according to you. Would love to agree with you but that would make both of us wrong.
Anything else I can do for you?
At least 16 of 18 were extremely meaningful. End of story.

Sharing a link on how to easily obtain that info without any research is "nasty"?
You have to explain that one... lol.
Wow!

There is no such quote from me. Don't make things up so we can move on. "which to me is not tying the score or putting the team up by 1- 2 runs"
This is what you said which is what I said lol, "And a late HR to increase a 1 or 2 run lead is also extremely meaningful". Anyway you are wrong again but it's fine no biggie let's move on.

This is what you said which is what I said lol, "And a late HR to increase a 1 or 2 run lead is also extremely meaningful". Anyway you are wrong again but it's fine no biggie let's move on. 1) My point was leads disappear every day in MLB. After you disputed that and I proved you wrong again you said we aren't like other teams. we are the mighty Dodgers at 41-19!! Lol... :
"Other teams don't concern at all. This is about Joc Pederson who plays for the Dodgers. So it doesn't happen almost everyday on the 41- 19 NL West Division leading team."
2) "putting a team up by 1 or 2" is not the same as already leading by 2 or more. Those were the ones that were called "meaningless" by you. Not meaningless, I'm not sure any reasonable person with half a brain would agree with you.
Again, would love to be able to agree with you on your absurd perception of what is "meaningful" but I just don't want both of us to be wrong.

Actually I proved all your points wrong. Who on earth calls a home run in the 4th inning “meaningless”.
Lmao!!!
