Not sure why Ken Giles is relevant to the discussion but I'm not disagreeing with any of this about Jansen. He isn't as reliable as he once was, that is certain. The reality is that we are still better off with Jansen than any of the other playoff teams in the NL other than Milwaukee. And guys also clamored for Kimbrel who has been just plain awful. Thankfully they didn't go in that direction in June. whew... Ken Giles is relevant to the discussion cos you were comparing Jansen to other closers. I did'nt notice those other closers are on other playoff teams. Got it. Giles is really good, agree there. my comparison was against the NL playoff teams. Jansen is 2nd best out of them so at least that’s something. Gonna be a nerve wracking 9th inning this postseason, that’s certain. Need some 2 or 3 run leads 😃

Tremendous bullpen game except for Floro. Good practice for playoffs. Pretty sure Floro is the only guy who gave up a hit.

Floro is probably not on the playoff roster. IDK about May. He throws hard but has gotten hit. Ferguson has been on recently but who knows.

I've heard that Rich Hill will probably get another start or be the opener on Sunday. If he can't go more than 2 IP in a possible game 4 in postseason I don't see the need to have him on the roster rather than another guy in the pen that can go multiple games for those 1 or 2 IP.
