Apparently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau mocked Trump in front of a small group of world leaders at the NATO summit & it was captured by at least one cameraman. Trump called Trudeau two-faced & is leaving early. He really should have thicker skin. How many people has he tweeted about? He's already had a run-in with France's leader at the same meeting.
They're pushing the obstruction angle. Is Devin Nunes there?

What we found out the other day is Nadler is no Adam Schiff. I didn't understand calling the constitutional professors. It's a matter of opinion. The GOP called their own professor, who had the audacity to say there wasn't enough evidence. Why didn't anyone immediately come back with the reason there's a scarcity of concrete evidence is because of the obstruction of justice? Christ, I'm a freaking bartender & could see that.
Also, they've already gotten confessions from Mulvaney & Sondland. Mulvaney unintentionally. There was a quid pro quo. Definitely this for that. Those guys were in a "perfect" position to know.
Focus on the obstruction & leave political / legal debates to the desperate GOP. I feel the Democrats lost a lot of steam the last time out. Nadler didn't seem focused or able to maintain order.

Today we hear the DOJ is investigating campaign contributions to Hillary Clinton by an Arab prince. They wouldn't name the country so I'm assuming it's Saudi Arabia. The DOJ is headed by Trump's toady, Barr. So I'll make the further assessment that the timing here isn't coincidental. It's just plain stupid. If Donald is trying to say he's not the only one, duly noted. What makes me think this was his idea is how mind numbingly dumb it is. But it's part of his playbook. Smear the other guy & maybe he doesn't look so bad by comparison. Okay..
Drain the swamp. EVERY LIVING CREATURE IN THAT RANCID CESSPOOL. That's including you, Don. You don't get a pass for pointing out others. Maybe your ONLY positive contribution to American politics will be your role in leading us to campaign reform. Perhaps too we can hope that the powers of the president can be further delineated. Supposedly Giuliani has dug up some really juicy stuff on the Bidens. Yes, he's back in Ukraine. Trump seems positively giddy. Of course he felt that way about the Mueller Report too.
One question: didn't Donald say Rudy was his personal attorney & NOT conducting state business? What personal business did Trump have with the Bidens? Oops!
This guy is incredibly clumsy.

Current FBI Director Christopher Wray's report clears the Bureau of wrongdoing in it's investigation of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign & possible connections to Russia. He found procedural errors. No conspiracy. Wray was Trump's handpicked successor after Comey was shit-canned.
Makes a person wonder about Giuliani's alleged upcoming explosive revelations. The Mueller Report supposedly completely exonerated Donald, until someone read it to him. Expect Wray to get fired soon.
Two of the articles of impeachment will be obstruction of Congress & abuse of power. It'll never get past the Senate. It's gotten that bad in Washington.

A judge ordered Trump to give back $2,000,000 he embezzeled from his charitable foundation. Sounds like Frank McCourt. His children had to attend seminars on how NOT to embezzle from charities. Donald had to confess to 19 violations. This proves he can be made to tell the truth when cornered.
Next on the agenda are his tax returns. Courts seem to be doing better than Congress.

There was some entitled Republican Representative from Florida who clowned Hunter Biden for his dependency problems. Far as I can tell this guy has a DUI & 16 speeding tickets. On his DUI, he refused to take a breathylizer test. Per Florida law, that constitutes a mandatory one year suspension of his driving license. He didn't get that suspension. The arresting officer was forced to resign though. This Representative's father had that much clout.
Is there no end to the hypocrisy & posturing?

The laws (and lack of enforcement) in the state of Florida are simply amazing. Just ask Jameis Winston, starting QB and millionaire for Tampa Bay. Clear cut rapist not doing a day of time behind bars, thanks to the Florida State University boosters, alumni and on-the-take police and prosecutors. GO DODGERS!!! |

Representative Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey has switched party allegiance from Democrat to Republican after meeting with President Donald Trump. His district leans toward conservative anyway. This was probably self-survival. The timing is suspicious though. Right before the vote on impeachment, & immediately after meeting with Trump. Stupid, IMHO. If this was an ideological decision, he should have at least remained a Democrat until after the vote. His breaking party ranks would help Trump more if Van Drew was still a Democrat. It might help others cross over. It would look more like he voted his conscience rather than affiliation. Kinda makes me wonder what was said at that meeting. Well, Trump himself has been a Republican, Independent, Democrat & Republican again. Maybe he told Jeff to not worry. It's no big deal.  What occurs to me is can Van Drew be recalled? He was elected as a Democrat. The people who voted him into office clearly had to have aligned themselves with those party values. Obviously he no longer represents those values. Shouldn't he have to give back campaign contributions given by Democratic donors? Seems fair. They're not getting their money's worth. Hopefully for his sake, Trump comes through on whatever promises he made. He's not the most honest person. He's notorious for getting bored with his toadies too. Sure, you kiss a mean ass, but so does that guy over there too. Later. You're FIRED! |
