Giuliani now admits he wanted Marie Yovanovitch out of the way to investigate the Bidens. They're not even bothering to lie anymore. Nothing happened the first time.
So Rudy isn't licensed as a foreign lobbyist. Trump stressed Giuliani was his personal attorney. He didn't know what Rudy was doing in Ukraine though. He has a lot of clients. Yovanovitch getting fired had nothing to do with Giuliani's work in Ukraine. Then Trump salivates over the dirt Rudy supposedly dug up on the Bidens. We don't get to see it (might not ever see it) because Giuliani is keeping it for "insurance." Trump admitted to seeing some of it. Rudy confesses he wanted Yovanovitch out of the way to do work he had no business doing. All the while Donald pounded Zelensky & Ukraine for being the corrupt ones. How long before he confesses he withheld support to get Zelensky's cooperation?
Wow! What has become of us that we find this acceptable behavior?

But it very likely has been going on since old GW took that first oath of office. Politicians and lawyers are two of the most corrupt positions and forms of employment on earth, right up there with used car salespersons. The only difference this time is it’s ALL being reported, whether true or not by an over zealous media that HATES Trump more than Bin Laden. They will never get over the fact that he won and Shillary lost and made them look foolish in the process. From what I understand, due to all of this ridiculousness, Trump would be afforded the chance at a THIRD term. Damn - that would drive the left COMPLETELY INSANE if he was in office for 12 years. Anybody that doesn’t think it could happen is fooling themselves. GO DODGERS!!!

When Trump saw how feeble Congress was by simply stonewalling them, Donald & Rudy reversed course because they feel nothing can be done to stop them. That's too dangerous to let stand. He's becoming a dictator. There are no more checks & balances. His core constituency will back him up no matter what.

To no one's surprise, Trump got impeached yesterday. It went along party lines. All of them are attention whores. We didn't need their life stories. Just cast your ballot & move on.
Schiff really is shrewd. Every time the GOP started to gain some momentum on an alternate reality, he brought them back. What was particularly troubling to me is how they parroted Trump's talking points, & even used his same phraseology. It's like mass hypnosis. Secret meetings in the basement, they didn't get to call their own witnesses (the Bidens & whistleblower), witch hunt, coup, hoax, sham, after him since day one, he did nothing to merit any of this, etc. One guy even complained that Nunes' phone records had been subpoenaed. It wouldn't have revealed anything if Devin wasn't hip deep in this shit. Cry me a river.
It still doesn't get past the Senate. Pelosi is holding back forwarding this material to the Senate. She's angling for something. which might mean they have more than they've revealed so far.

If they had anything else, it certainly would have been leaked by the primarily left media by now. I think she knows that despite what they do or don’t have on Trump and how much of it is true -vs- heresy, she knows deep down it will never get through the Republican majority Senate. And she’s right. Despite everything he has done, said and been caught with his “hand in the cookie jar”, he’ll skate. And more than likely get a second and possibly third term. And as bad as the left and Dems hate him and would nominate and vote for Hitler over Trump if he was alive, they don’t have the candidate or the votes to do a damn thing about it. GO DODGERS!!!

“[T]he facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.” - Christianity Today

Just like Schiff roped Nunes in, they can snare a few more.

The Republicans will not jeopardize their jobs / careers by voting for conviction and removal despite condemning evidence presented. And the Dems will hold their party line despite how flimsy and unproven some of this evidence may be. Pelosi’s idea to “bypass” the Senate trial will be deemed unconstitutional and make the Dems and their case look weaker than it probably is and in the end, their party will suffer the consequences in 2020. GO DODGERS!!!

GO DODGERS!!! Pretty sure Pelosi will eventually forward it. She's holding out for something. Hiding evidence, digging up more evidence, or waiting for the 2020 campaign. Leave it fresh in voters' minds. That's a good idea, IMO. People forget.

I think she’d be better presenting whatever she has (if anything) ASAP; the continued stall tactics could end up backfiring, especially if she doesn’t have or can’t dig up anything else. Half of America already thinks the whole thing is a big hoax and the longer they drag this out, the more it weakens their case. If they hold out until the election with nothing more than they have now, it’s a virtual lock Trump is re-elected. People WILL remember the time, money and lack of anything being done by this current House based on their obsession in removing a man, warts and all that they never thought in a million years would beat their matron in waiting. GO DODGERS!!!

Something else to take into consideration is the tax case scheduled for March. Trump has already been busted for embezzling from his own charity. If the Supreme Court orders him to turn over his returns, they might find he was using it to launder his money. Avoid paying taxes & actually take a deduction. Then 'borrow' the money back tax free. He could do that with his own money, & the money of others. Courts have been doing better than Congress so far.
The Democrats may just choose to keep the impeachment cloud hanging over Trump's head until he's convicted as a tax cheat.

Trump Pushes Out Tweet Naming Alleged Whistleblower
December 26, 2019 4:58 PM PST
On Thursday evening, Donald Trump pushed out on Twitter the name of the alleged whistleblower whose complaint led to the president’s impeachment.
Trump’s personal Twitter account, @realdonaldtrump, retweeted a post by the re-election campaign’s official “war room” account that was aimed at the whistleblower’s attorney Mark Zaid. “It's pretty simple. The CIA ‘whistleblower’ is not a real whistleblower!” reads the tweet, which links to a Washington Examiner item. That piece, published Dec. 3, includes the alleged whistleblower’s name in the headline. The Daily Beast is declining to publish the name and has not independently verified the identity of the whistleblower.
As The Daily Beast reported last month, Trump had gossiped for weeks about this alleged whistleblower with various friends, media figures, and senior administration officials, and had asked some people if they thought it was a good idea for him to publicly announce or tweet the name. Several people close to the president, such as Ivanka Trump and White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, had privately cautioned him against saying or posting the name in public, arguing it would be counterproductive and unnecessary.
Even Fox News host Sean Hannity, who had also gossiped in recent months with Trump about the alleged whistleblower, hadn’t pushed the president hard on this.
Multiple sources close to Trump had told The Daily Beast last month that they were genuinely shocked the president hadn’t already rage-tweeted the name or blurted it out to the cameras, given his massive fury at the individual. On Thursday night, President Trump’s restraint appeared to slip.
Zaid — who has worked with The Daily Beast on Freedom of Information Act requests — and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment on this story.

Looks like Don grew a spine just in time for his impeachment. He keeps blowing people up. Sad to say his Wag the Dog moment will probably work. People are already saying you don't change presidents in the middle of a crises. Wonder if that crises would even exist if he had listened to his generals.
He's getting blasted from the left for his tweets (what else?) for saying Obama would provoke a war with Iran when he was running for reelection.
