Lee would stir up a hornet's nest in the morning, go bowling in the afternoon, Dwoo would defend Lee's right to free speech, Lee would come back in the early evening, thank everyone for participating in his lovely thread, take time out to hurl an insult or two at me, then Benny would burn his thread to the ground. It happened every single day. My favorite was when he threatened to run me over in the parking lot of the Big A. His favourite slam on me was that I drove a 20 year old rusted out Ford Tempo. I think he also insinuated that I lived in it as well. How he ever came up with that one I’ll never know, unless that’s what HE was driving at the time. I’ve never had a vehicle that old since I got my first license in ‘77, other than my first Harley that I got from my father-in-law in ‘93, which was a ‘72 that I rebuilt from the frame up. But he knew how to touch a nerve, that’s for sure. His constant bragging about his “service to our country” made him look like Patton; in his own truth, he never saw one minute of actual conflict & the supply vehicles he drove were never anywhere near battle lines. Dwoo sided with him right up to the point that he was not of any use to him anymore and then he dropped him like a bitch. Good times . . . GO DODGERS!!!

Did you see the time he pretended to be his own wife & proceeded to chastise us for picking on her poor husband? I openly flirted with 'her.' It was hysterical. I bet even Lee had to chuckle at that one.

Chuckpo insisted on those painfully long debates with Dwoo. He had an ego problem & found solace in trying to one-up DW. I told him to just cherry-pick the most asinine comments & clown him. Don't legitimize that clod by wasting your entire day like you were talking to a real person. Sometimes my eyes glazed over at the sheer volume of their posts.

The night I threatened Dwoo all three of us were up until about midnight. I knew DW was reporting us. Especially me after the threat.
As each page turned I was going back & erasing my posts. I emailed Chuck to do the same. Unfortunately he didn't notice it until it was too late. I was letting DW climb out on a limb while I was sawing it off behind him.
The next morning the thread was gone. Both Chuck & Dwoo had been banned. Being the experienced troll he was though, DW had a spare immediately ready.
A phantom account named 'Saitofan,' who up until that point had spoken only in pigeon English, had started a fairly fluent thread about the injustice of poor Dodgerwood getting the boot while I still roamed free. Frnadoman (Lou Diamond Phillips avatar. He was the caricature mdblue ripped apart for lying about going to Princeton & getting a Masters in a field Princeton doesn't give Masters in) joined in with the very honorable Saitofan in calling for my ouster.
People started emailing me. What do we do? Ignore it was my advice. It's one or two trolls. They can't keep it on the front page forever. Sure enough, it slid to page 2 & was reported into oblivion
Towards the end there those Giants trolls tipped their hand. They had a big woody for me in particular. No idea how many of those accounts lived on our board. It alarmed me when we started this board & BB1954 was dredging up posts from very obvious Giants trolls & was inviting them over here. It's pretty plain to see now what he was up to.

Both of them were egomaniacs and had to have the last word. Once they were arguing about something and Chuck told DW "GO away", and DW responded with "You go away". It was almost amusing if not for the fact that they just wasted space and our time cos we wanted to discuss Dodger baseball.

It's pretty plain to see now what he was up to. Ah, yes! Saito fan was a classic; didn’t he also have another one? I thought I remembered one with a movie star - maybe Burt Reynolds? Dwoo always had a backup. Lee usually had several. Some of his best bits came when they had the “star” rating feature and no one would give his any. To counter, he’d sign in under one name, post and then sign out. His second (or third, or fourth) would then sign in and give him five stars on every post. Kinda like Frank always giving himself the thumbs up. Lee ALWAYS got busted, tho and thankfully MLB was able to boot him off permanently before they shut all of the boards down. I wonder if bulldog ever got to have that slice and Coke with Frank? What an oddball that one was. He started out fairly amusing, with the kids throwing snowballs, the six foot hero sandwich, his “shows” for mom and pops, etc. But his stories got progressively weirder and unbelievable and he became a caricature of himself. Most thought he was just a trolling figure of someone’s warped imagination but bulldog swore the “initial” version was real. Guess we’ll never know. GO DODGERS!!!

The movie star was Lou Diamond Phillips. I had accused Dwoo of being a racist for the umpteenth time & Frnadoman appeared, as if emerging from a mist, & took DW's side that *I* was the racist. Frnadoman was supposedly a poor Latin kid who grew up on the hard streets of Silverlake out here in LA. I was 100% sure he was either a Giants troll or Martinbillingsley31. Remember him? He was the one always swinging from Olbear's jockstrap. Out of curiousity, I Googled MB31 & found both of them on another site. It was years after our encounters. MB31 was still raging about me. Oldbear was consoling him.
Oldbear's ouster pointed out Benny's duplicity. When DePo was Dodger GM, Benny didn't quite get me banned. What he did was worse. I could see my posts. No one else could though. I signed out & there was no post. I signed in & there was my post. In a telephone conversation with Chuckpo, Benny laughed & called it "clowning." Apparently I wasn't the first one he had done this to. After DePo got fired, it was Oldbear getting banned. Benny = sycophant
No moderator should ever be so biased he stifles the opinions of others simply because they don't toe the company line. I still wouldn't contact New York to try to get Benny fired, like Chuck was doing & had advised me to do the same. I'm not taking food off anyone's table. I will tell you what I think of you to your face. At the get-together Chuck thought it would be funny to have me meet Benny. He had convinced Benny it was me who got him fired. As I shook hands with this stranger, Chuck introduced us. I didn't let go of Benny's hands, but stopped shaking & stared dead in his eyes. Benny muttered - "please don't hate me Billy." I let go of his hand & walked away in disgust.
I allowed a couple posters on this board knowing full well it would end badly. One was an angry drunk. The other mentally unstable. I was giving them one last chance, because diversity of opinion leads to debate. Sadly my premonition that they would continue to be disruptive proved all too true. I'm still glad I gave them that chance. I'm not Benny or Chuck. The final nail in my coffin at Chuck's site was defending Utah's right to express himself. I didn't even like Utah. Just hate censorship more.

Really would have loved to have been at that meet-up. Think we had either already booked our trips that year or it was too close to one we had been or were going on.
I did have to call NY & Benny one time after an accidental temporary ban. He said it was a “computer glitch”, but I think he was just nailing anybody & everybody who was engaging Lee at the time.
Only lasted less than a day, so it was no biggie.
Wonder what ever became of guys like Ranch, Tito, etc? Thought about hooking up with Tito when we went to Sturgis a few years ago, but had no idea how to get in touch with him.
Used to LOVE Ranch’s broken attempts at English. Sue would’ve had a ball and / or breakdown with him.
GO DODGERS!!!

Btw - someone on the Angels board hacked into that star system & would grade people up or down, depending on who it was. It's one time Chuck came in handy. He too hacked into it & gave one guy I liked over 300 gold stars. I figured that made a point with whoever else was doing it. I can't remember who it was we helped. Although an Angels fan, he had a sarcastic sense of humor I liked. Vin used to fawn over kids in the stands & this guy had Vinnie taking his clothes off while doing it. I laughed so hard I cried.
Most Angels fans are the least informed fans in MLB. That & they would take names like 'halos2002.' You're pretty much telling us when you became a 'fan' with those names. Some attacked me because the Dodgers ALWAYS came first. I had that Jackie Robinson avatar too. Others really liked me because I knew minutiae about the Angels that others didn't.
Angels fans are still the worst in the league when it comes to scalping their tickets to big games. I got thrown out one time for going after some Red Sox fans. Why were we surrounded by Red Sox fans?

It was mainly friendly, though, not like "debating" Dodgerwood.

I wanted Chuck to let up on Zeph. I liked Zeph. Chuck secretly banned Zeph from his new board. The funny part was Zeph was only 16.

Another bad day for the GOP. Sondland included everyone in the conspiracy. Trump too.
Same talking points for the Republicans. Hearings in the basement. Hoax. Witch hunt. Blankets for the Ukraine from the Obama administration, which we found out was false anyway.

VictoriousGhost. That was the sarcastic Angels fan. We got along quite well.
Halos2002 hated my guts. Maybe because I pointed out his frontrunning ignorance
