" Andrew Toles has played in six games and has torn the cover off the ball so far. He has sat out of 3 games. (not playing every day)." Andrew Toles is on the DL with a hamstring, that's why he's missing games. Doc said he's coming soon though... And Liberatore and Venditte have not done that well like you said they would. Libby's WHIP is 1.38 and Venditte is over 2.00. Thanks for the update! Didn't know Toles was on the DL. Hope he gets back ASAP. Liberatore's WHIP is not great, but he has done well enough. He has not allowed a run yet in 4 innings. Venditte has not fared well at all. Do we know that? Because a 1.39 WHIP is pretty high. Liberatore might have allowed inherited runners to score. Lefty specialists often enter games with men already on base.

I cannot speak to the inherited runners. Maybe someone knows how to check for that? Even so, that can be a misleading stat if he comes in with 0 outs and bases loaded, if he only gives up 1 inherited runner, that's pretty good. But, without that data it's really hard to say. For the record, I'm not saying that I definitely want Liberatore on the major league roster. I just don't want Font on it! Liberatore was pretty good in the past out of the pen, but anyone would be better than Font, IMO.

"Even so, that can be a misleading stat if he comes in with 0 outs and bases loaded, if he only gives up 1 inherited runner, that's pretty good."
That's pretty selective too. So if Kershaw is cruising along & makes it into the eighth inning, pitching a 1-0 shutout, gives up a leadoff double, Roberts goes to the pen & brings in Baez, Pedro gives up a blooping single down the rightfield line, Kershaw loses his shutout & the game is tied 1-1 now, you're not jumping Baez for "choking" away the lead? Of course you are.
Joe Beimel used to do that & it drove me crazy. Lefties are used specifically to face lefthanded batters. That's their job.

Which was more annoying? Beimel or that Troy stalker guy who followed him around?

Wow that is one scary dude. Did that stalker have something to do with Beimel? I don't know the whole story. He was a HUGE Beimel fan and had a YouTube channel with lots of videos as tributes to him. I think he actually ended up meeting JB and / or getting some Dodger goodies from him after he left the team. He then focused his attention to the entire Dodger organization and continued with the videos as well as making his way to a number of ballparks when LA was in town. I was actually at the game that got him banned from the GAB here in Cincy. I was also there the night he tried to sneak back in and was arrested which ended up getting him a few months in our local facilities along with a starring segment in the “Lock-Up” series on CNBC. Dude was / is truly troubled and got himself deeper and deeper with domestic issues in his home town in West Virginia. I could go on for days - but this at least gives you a small synopsis. GO DODGERS!!!
