What? No Assumption made here... Yes, I know traditional TJS takes a better part of a year, but this is a different procedure, one that takes less time recoup. However, it is a moot point now as Seager's UCL damage was significant, and beyond the Primary repair's procedures operational scope. At the time I mentioned this alternate procedure, I did not know the extent of Seager's ligament damage, which was significant enough to warrant total ligament replacement! And, that is all! Thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware of the procedure before. The article I linked makes it sound as if it may become as routine as TJ surgery, but it's in an "experimental" stage at this point. The shorter recovery period would be great.

It was all covered in the old MLB thread at the time with Zephyr......don't care to rehash it but I felt that way then and still do. VL's had a pretty good go at it with Houston. So your opinion was just based on a hunch?
