"They sat out the offseason for all intensive purposes. They claimed the team was so good they didn't need to improve the team." Improve the team from what? A salary perspective? "Then they turned around and said they expected a drop in velocity from the teams key pitchers. They knew Seager's elbow could require TJ. It is early but things are not looking good. The pitching drop off is most concerning to me. Will be tough to overcome the loss of Seager but if the pitching was as good as last year I believe the team could still win the division. Kershaw's drop off and Woods regression are very concerning for the rotation and I can't get a read on Jansen's issues one way or the other." What does Seager have to do with pitching? Seager has nothing to do with pitching. There were rumors out there in the offseason and in spring training that Seager could need TJ. I posted the article at the end of spring training where the tea, said they would have to move Taylor to SS if Seager's elbow blew out. They knew the elbow was not sound and chose to gamble.

I do not hate the front office. They have a boss. I don't hate the boss I just can not defend the situation they put themselves in this year despite claiming to expect it in regards to the pitching and knowing Seager's elbow was in bad shape. They claimed winning would always come first and Stan Kasten even said it came first this offseason. Clearly wasn't the case. Winning came second to cutting salary and not the other way around period. Another cowardly post. Another idiotic one. Do you work for the front office?

A couple wins in a row should get jeremy back into hibernation... The news tonight about Seager makes the offseason even more inexcusable. They knew he had an elbow injury that could require TJ. We heard rumors about that in the offseason and in spring training. They didn't even bring in a competent backup capable of playing every day. ... Now we know why they played Taylor at SS during the spring (and kept Kemp). They knew it was likely that Seager would not make it the entire year. So, Taylor will play Short, OF will be Joc, Kike, Puig and kemp.

"A better backup plan then Taylor and Kike? Wow, another really dumb post."
But we could have really improved the roster while dumping $500,000 salaries like Corey Seager's & Cody Bellinger's.

Actually your defense of the front office no matter what decision they make is proving to be the dumb opinion in this case. The front office knew his elbow was in bad shape. There were rumors about him potentially needing TJ during the summer and in spring training. This isn't something that came out of no where. They should have had a better backup plan than his elbow holds up or it doesn't and that is it. A better backup plan then Taylor and Kike? Wow, another really dumb post. Time will tell who's opinion is the dumb one. Guess we will find out.

Another idiotic one. Do you work for the front office? Deflect away coward. Yes I am terrified of a guy on a computer. I don't think you have an opinion. A coward agrees with any and every decision made by others. I have my own opinion and was blasted for it by the same guys who stand here tonight doing so instead of watching the team they claimed had no flaws. Every flaw I talked about we have have seen so far yet the three of you still stand here tonight attacking my opinion like you know better.

They knew they would have to lean on him if Seager went out and Taylor had to go back to the IF.

16.7% of the full-year data points show that this is not a fluke. This is a trend and will remain a trend unless things change. Well, the Dodger's Pythagorean has them at 15-12 (128 Runs, 116 Runs Allowed). So if the data holds they will move toward that level. Their run diff shows they are at about a 90 win level. They've had one problem, the pen. Fix that and the season will be very different and would have been different in the first 27 games.

Frustration boiling over on my part. I got blasted for the deficiencies I saw in the pen at the end of spring training and here we are so far.

As I said before, I don’t agree with every decision the FO has made; I just don’t whine and complain to strangers when I disagree with something. But do I agree with most? Sure. This front office has won more games then any other group since they have taken over, so why shouldn’t they get the benefit of the doubt? It’s funny to me that you take so much pride in hating the FO and ownership when the FO has proven to be very good at their jobs and ownership has invested more money in to their franchise then any other group. But investing more money then literally every other ownership group just isn’t enough for a certain crybaby from the Bay Area because he was traumatized by his Giant fan coworkers, or whatever happened to you to become the fan you are.

Never once heard you disagree with one decision made by the front office. As you know I have spent a lot of time on the board so I am pretty sure I would have seen it. I'm my own man and certainly not afraid to tell a computer tough guy like yourself if I hated the front office and ownership. As of now the position Brian Cashman took and I agreed with seems to be the one that was more logical which is why you find yourself slinging insults in my direction instead of watching the game. One thing I will point out but still doesn't mean I hate the front office is that the front office inherited a pretty good situation. I point this out to highlight the fact they can make wrong decisions like we saw during the offseason but again they were only listening to their boss.
