I don't understand what Matz's stats have to do with Lux?

I was over having a family Easter dinner and didn't see any of the game, but occasionally looked at gamecast. Stoner came blazing out of the gate K-ing the side in the 1st. He seemed to start to lose it in the 6th and thanks to Vessy's HBP, allowed 3 runs. Overall I'd say he was very impressive. He's still learning and will be much improved as the season progresses. Look at how far he's come since last year when he was battered this way and that.

How much is LA paying these clowns? And why are they both still on this roster? Certainly they could do better than these scrubs. GO DODGERS!!!

Most teams have 2 catcher's interference calls all season, and now we have 2 in the first 6 games. Barnes can't hit his weight, though Kersh sees something in his catching ability. But neither Dalton Rushing nor Diego Cartaya are ready for the bigs. As for Vesia, I like him. So he's off to a bad start. He's a proven relief pitcher and needs to stay.

Vespa’s stats show otherwise, with a 10 - 7 record and career ERA of 3.40, but it seems to me that every time he came into a close game last year, he’d blow the lead or put two or three guys on before being pulled. And then those guys would get knocked in by the next bozo available, like fruit salad, Mary Pickford, etc. At least LA did rid themselves of some of that dead weight. The only thing that concerns me is these guys keep showing up and getting re-signed by the Dodgers later in the year. Joe Kelly is a PERFECT example of this. I know they need bodies in the pen, especially with Train Wreck & Gaterade out until who knows when. But the “best team in baseball” (on paper), shouldn’t have a bullpen filed with dumpster scraps and a backup catcher who just flat out sucks. GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Dinelson Lamet: Promotion on tap Rotowire 54 MINS AGO The Dodgers are expected to call up Lamet from Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to Monday's game against the Giant, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Lamet doesn't currently have a spot on the 40-man roster, so the Dodgers will likely need to make a corresponding transaction to facilitate his move to the big club. The right-hander was unable to win a spot in the Dodgers' Opening Day bullpen, but he impressed in the Cactus League with five strikeouts over 3.2 innings while allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk.
(Corresponding move.)
Dodgers' Nabil Crismatt: Picks up win in Dodgers debut Rotowire 1 HR AGO Crismatt (1-0) earned the win in relief against the Cardinals on Sunday, allowing one hit while striking out three batters over two scoreless innings.
Crismatt signed a minor-league deal with Los Angeles in the offseason and had his contract selected Sunday morning. The veteran reliever had a successful first outing with his new team, throwing 22 of 29 pitches for strikes over the seventh and eighth frames as the Dodgers offense worked to erase a two-run deficit. Crismatt struggled with San Diego and Arizona last season and finished with an 8.31 ERA over 13 innings, but he performed well the year prior and could stick in Los Angeles' bullpen if he can build off his excellent first impression.
Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Reaches four times in win Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Taylor went 1-for-1 with three walks, a stolen base and a run in a 5-4 victory against St. Louis on Sunday.
Taylor got his second start of the season, batting fifth and playing left field. In his first start, he struck out in each of his three at-bats, but the utility man turned things around by getting aboard four times Sunday, including three times via walk. His final free pass was particularly important, as it was followed by Max Muncy's game-winning two-run homer. Taylor is clearly not going to get everyday at-bats as long as the rest of the Dodgers roster is relatively healthy, so he's most useful in fantasy formats that allow daily moves.
Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Belts third long ball Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, two total runs and two total RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win against St. Louis.
Hernandez played a key role in sparking the Dodgers' comeback win, putting the team on the board with a run-scoring double in the sixth inning and pulling Los Angeles to within a run with a solo shot in the eighth. The veteran outfielder went 2-for-12 without an RBI over his first three games of the campaign, but he's gone 4-for-12 with three homers and six runs batted in over the past three contests. Hernandez has struggled making contact so far, though, striking out 12 times through 26 plate appearances.
Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Goes 3.1 innings in rehab start Rotowire 6 HRS AGO Buehler (elbow) allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and two walks over 3.1 innings in his first rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.
He struck out two in the outing and induced five whiffs among his 54 pitches. Buehler's four most-used pitches were all down at least 1.0 mph from where he's usually at, with his four-seamer coming in at 94.2 mph. Given that it was his first of what is expected to be four rehab starts, it's not really surprising or alarming. Assuming all goes well, Buehler is likely to rejoin the Dodgers' rotation before the end of the month.

Didn't he K the dangerous Paul Goldschmidt with the bases loaded, only for Barnes to interfere and allow an unearned run? Come on, you expect everyone to get the job done every time
