I will go the Dwoo way with I expect this team will win some games and lose some games. Some will be close; others will be blow-outs.
Daisy / Froggy will have their hands in more than a few L’s as well the shaky infield defense.
In the end, we’ll likely have another NL West banner to hang after another 100 + W season.
Let’s just hope there’s still some premium fuel (or battery power, for all you crazy Californians 😝) in the tank when October rolls around.
GO DODGERS!!!

Pacman might have just finished 5 shutout innings, but his strike to ball ratio wasn't good, with 4 walks. It's just one start though, and he'll improve from this. 97 pitches, only 57 strikes.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Notches another three-hit game Rotowire 8 HRS AGO Freeman went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBI against the Giants in an 8-3 victory Monday.
Freeman is off to a hot start to the campaign, slashing .360/.500/.520 over 32 plate appearances. He's collected a pair of three-hit performances over his past three games, though only one of the hits during that span has gone for extra bases. Freeman has driven in six runs through seven games and should get ample opportunity to produce throughout the season with Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani hitting ahead of him.
Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Shows off power once again Rotowire 8 HRS AGO Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's 8-3 win over the Giants.
Hernandez broke open what had been a relatively close game with his 431-foot, three-run blast in the sixth inning. It was the fourth long ball in the past four games for the veteran outfielder, who is making a strong impression in his first campaign with the Dodgers. Hernandez ranks third in MLB with nine RBI and should continue to have plenty of run-producing opportunities throughout the campaign given LA's prolific offense.
Dodgers' James Paxton: Picks up victory in Dodgers debut Rotowire 9 HRS AGO Paxton (1-0) earned the win over San Francisco on Monday, pitching five shutout innings during which he allowed four hits and five walks while striking out five batters.
Paxton put quite a bit of traffic on the basepaths due largely to his five free passes, but he held the Giants to an 0-for-4 mark with runners in scoring position to escape without allowing any runs. The veteran hurler has been troubled by injuries in recent campaigns but looked completely healthy in his 2024 debut, tossing 97 pitches. Paxton hasn't completed more than 100 innings or posted better than a 4.50 ERA since 2019, so he's far from a sure bet to be a reliable starter for the entirety of the campaign, but he appears to have a set spot at the back of the Dodgers' rotation for the time being.

A bullpen game today - oh, boy! Haven’t they all pitched just as much as the five starters?
Other than Miller giving LA six innings, I don’t believe any of the other four went more than five.
That’s four innings a night for six of the seven games. What the hell are Daisy / Froggy doing?
I realize it’s early, but if this rotation is going to need a “bullpen game” every week, things could get ugly.
It’s a good thing they’re averaging seven runs a game. Something tells me Smelly will get a few innings today.
GO DODGERS!!!

I hear he’s looking for a new employer but his requirements are $90,000 annually and access to banking accounts with at least $10 mil in funds. Wonder if O will pay his upcoming legal bills? Well, I for one am very impressed with our rotation, each one having one start, no counting Korea. Pacman was a little shaky last nite, but allowing 9 runners and none of them to score is simply great pitching. And it's so reassuring about all the pitchers who are waiting in the wings to come back, like Kersh, Ferris, Emmit, and Carrots. Not worried about the bullpen either.

Over / Under at 8.5 tonight. I’m DEFINITELY going OVER.
Smelly alone is good for three. LA is averaging eight runs a game.
I don’t believe Webb starting tonight for the Vages changes that.
GO DODGERS!!!
