Effin’ Fox - entire pre-game from Yankee Stadium; clock in corner showing countdown to first pitch; here in Cincy - we get to watch the Marlins -vs- Indians - nope - I’m not calling them Guardians.
What the eff?!?
Stone in love gets himself out of trouble after giving up two straight singles to open the game. Fly out to center by King Judge and two pop-ups.
Pretty ballsy for his first start ever in front of 40k obnoxious Yankee fans, although I did see on Twitter a fairly decent Dodger rep walking toward the stadium.
GO DODGERS!!!

New Yorkers are going to be having nightmares of Hernandez.
Bring back Cosell from the dead. Hell, dude was dead the last 40 years of his life anyway. His soul died when the Dodgers left Brooklyn.

New Yorkers are going to be having nightmares of Hernandez. Bring back Cosell from the dead. Hell, dude was dead the last 40 years of his life anyway. His soul died when the Dodgers left Brooklyn. What stinking strikeouts? He doens't usually K in the clutch does he? He's proven to be a very wise signing this off season. And the Stone, he battled nerves I think, serving up singles to the first 2 hitters, but then he retired the Judge and escaped without any damage. Though the Judge did homer off him in the 3rd, that was all he allowed the Yanks to score, till the pressure seemed to get to him in the 6th. Pulling him at that point was a very wise move. The Vess even K'd the Judge in the bottom half of the inning. But that Judge is an amazing athlete. Though I think his second homer, off Yardbirdy, wasn't on a great pitch, since he had a 9 run lead. But still, 2 homers and robbing the Mook of at least a 2 run double, or maybe 3 run bomb. He draws comparisons to the Babe for more than his bat. The Babe could make some great catches in RF and had a cannon for an arm, since he was a pitcher before. He had good speed on the bases, his 136 triples and stole 123 bases for his career, a stat even more amazing considering that when he came along, the name of the game was singles, walks, bunts and steals. That approach was shoved aside for homers. The Babe's stats other than hitting has rarely been mentioned, as it is for the Judge today.
