Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: In Game 3 lineup Monday

Ohtani (shoulder) will start at designated hitter and bat leadoff Monday in Game 3 of the World Series versus the Yankees, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Ohtani was forced to depart Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday due to a left shoulder subluxation suffered on a slide into second base. While he will probably have to play through some discomfort and be asked to curb his stolen base attempts, Ohtani is feeling well enough to give it a go as the Dodgers try to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Good start, but could have been MUCH better. 1 - 6 with RISP and five LOB already thru four innings.
Walker looking like vintage Walker so far. 45 pitches thru three shut out innings.

But, but, but, but . . . what about that SUPERIOR starting pitching by the Yankees?
Ferris has earned himself another contract - maybe not multi-year, but at least a couple at maybe $15 - $20 mil per?
Hate to see him go elsewhere and excel with another team after coming up in the LA system, two surgeries and a VERY rough regular 2024 season.
He’s shown a huge set in these playoffs and appears to be close to the kid that replaced Kershaw.

But I remember Cosell on Wide World of Sports as well as most of the big boxing matches in the 60’s and 70’s. My grandfather HATED Cosell, but nobody called a fight like him.
