I think Oscar Meyer would be MORE than happy with a three year deal.
Let’s face it - he’s no spring chicken and there may be a few other teams willing to give him more years, but would they be contenders and able to offer him more or better chances at additional rings?
I don’t know what he’s going to be worth on the open market. But he’s at least worth the $17 million LA is paying CT3, if not more.
But let’s also remember the big year Taylor had before getting that albatross contract before shitting the bed this year.
Hate to see lightning strike twice in the same way.
GO DODGERS!!!

Who will be the CF next year? The Out Man got the job back in March, but he hit that sophmore jinx. He simply K'd too much and it was easy for pitchers to set him up. He had good numbers at OKC: .279/.543/.933. Andy Pageboy wasn't much better at MLB: .248/.407/.712. While he didn't K as much as the Outman, on balance, he's about the same.
So the question is, if neither of them, then who? Juan Soto is getting all the press, and why not? But his price tag is too high, and he's already played for 3 teams in 6 MLB seasons. I wonder if FA Anthony Santander of the Orioles could play CF? He's a RF and his slash line is .236/.506/,814, That BA doesn't look very good, but that SA means that his hits count. A IP of .270 is pretty superior to many and he K"d 22% of his ABs.
So between Santander, Mooky and Teosco, can any of them play CF? Mooky is a great all around athlete so I think it might work.
Still, I think with the Out Man's vastly improved numbers at OKC, he has the first shot. WE know he's working like mad to cut down on his K's.

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Sticking around in Los Angeles Rotowire 16 hrs ago The Dodgers exercised Rojas' $5 million club option for 2025 on Saturday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.
Rojas appeared in 103 regular-season games for the Dodgers in 2024 and slashed .283/.337/.410 with six home runs and 36 RBI across 337 plate appearances. Rojas suffered a torn adductor injury during the NLDS against the Padres, which will require surgery during the offseason, but he was able to play in Game 2 of the World Series against the Yankees, going 0-for-3 with a strikeout. It's unclear whether Rojas' procedure will have the 35-year-old shortstop sidelined for the start of spring training.
Dodgers' Austin Barnes: Brought back for 2025 Rotowire 21 hrs ago The Dodgers exercised Barnes' $3.5 million club option for 2025 on Saturday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Barnes slashed .264/.331/.307 with 11 RBI across 156 plate appearances in 2024 -- good enough for the Dodgers to keep him around as the backup catcher behind Will Smith. While Barnes is likely to break spring training as Los Angeles' reserve backstop, a drop in production from the 34-year-old could eventually result in prospects Dalton Rushing or Hunter Feduccia taking his spot on the roster.

Shocking - LA gives the worst defensive catcher in the league another year to prove he sucks. We get it - he’s already proven that the last several seasons. Can’t throw ANYBODY out, can’t catch one hoppers thrown right to him and is almost a guaranteed 0 - 4 at the plate every appearance, Between him and Daisy, I have to wonder who has the P Diddy party tapes with Kasten & company? Ain’t no party like a Diddy party! GO DODGERS!!!
