Surprised the Broncs played them that close. My brother-in-law won’t even respond to my texts anymore.

He has a small shed in his back yard where he “partakes”. I imagine he’s been spending more time in there than usual.

Six games is certainly not a season - but he has looked extremely good and confident in every game sans Buffalo.

And I’m sure he and the team are looking forward to that rematch later in the year.

He still needs to learn about when not to throw balls - that pick six against the Giants a couple of weeks ago was so telegraphed even I could have made that catch.

Of course, I’d have gotten no more than a few yards before being tackled from behind.

But if he stays healthy and upright, this could finally be his and the teams breakout year.

Hell - it’s only been a HALF CENTURY since they looked this good this early with the exception of a few Marino era years.

And those teams only made it to a single Super Bowl and lost epically to the Redskins.

This week in Philly should be interesting.

Anyone who thinks the NFL and its outcomes aren’t controlled by a “higher power” (Vegas, cough, cough; los familias, cough, cough) need look no further than last nights fiasco in Philadelphia.

TEN penalties AGAINST the Dolphins, all but a few of which were COMPLETE BS; ZERO against the Eagles. ZERO!!!

I didn’t watch all of the game because I knew going in how it was going to go and I was 💯 % correct.

And I can tolerate about five minutes of Collinsworth’s blatant bias and ass kissing before I have to hit the remote.

But I did see some of the plays and calls / non-calls via video highlights and even some Philly fans on Twitter were posting about not wanting to win a game THAT way.

SO sad that $$$ has become such a huge factor in professional and college sports. The root of all evil indeed!

Can you say Eminent Domain? City or some developers will probably buy everyone out, doze everything and build another entertainment / condo district with million dollar plus units.

Last time we were there for the 2018 WS, we stayed at the Omni downtown. Very nice, but also pricey - it was the only downtown hotel that still had rooms available.

Two $250k McClarens were parked right in front when we checked in and we saw both of them a number of times during our stay.

Less than a block away, the homeless communes started and it was close to impossible to even get around them without walking in the street.

We were only a few blocks away from one of the subway stations but getting to it and then from it back to the hotel was intimidating to say the least.

And the stations themselves had people just laying on the ground and against the walls. I guess the po po can only do so much in trying to keep those areas clear.

Our walk up Hollywood Boulevard was much the same - people just laying on the ground or on a piece of cardboard.

And a good “contact” buzz every few feet. It’s truly sad that this country refuses to help its own while pouring billions into others economies and war efforts.

But, hey - look on the bright side. Newsom has banned Skittles and will make electric vehicles in the state mandatory by next decade!
