It doesn't look bad. Hopefully it isn't. The Dodgers sure got a quality person in Freddie. I think I remember both Kemp and Puig having “slight” hamstring pulls. I also remember both of them being on and off the DL (as it was called them) several times thoughout those seasons. Like Vassegh posted on Twitter - there’s no such thing as a “slight” hamstring pull. A pull is a pull. And this isn’t the first Dodger to be burned in this exhibition “tournament”. If I was the owner of a team investing hundreds of millions in a player, they’d have a non-participation clause for crap like this. GO DODGERS!!! We'll see. Puig isn't a good example because I think he dogged it. Kemp, that was when he crashed into an outfield wall twice, bowled over a catcher with the same injured shoulder, tripped over a bat & rolled his ankle, & then pulled his hamstring. Just an incredible string of injuries.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Officially out of Canada lineup Rotowire 1 HR AGO Freeman (hamstring) won't play Wednesday for Team Canada in its World Baseball Classic matchup versus Team Mexico, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Canada manager Ernie Whitt also added that Freeman is "out of this tournament for now" because of the hamstring tightness which forced him from Tuesday's game against Colombia. Freeman has since returned to the Dodgers and is being evaluated by the training staff, but Whitt seemed to leave open the possibility that the first baseman could return to the lineup for Team Canada if it advances in the tournament, but that seems unlikely.

Great - the Dodgers training staff of Larry, Curly and Moe are on the case. I’m certainly relieved and optimistic. GO DODGERS!!!

We’re in deep shit now. Daisy has made his diagnosis on Freddie’s hamstring as “mild” and there’s not a chance he won’t be ready and on the field opening day.
Great - let’s rush him back for the sake of opening day and then lose him until the All Star break.
Just because everyone calls him Doc doesn’t mean he IS one.
GO DODGERS!!!

It's only spring training, but so far Cody Bellinger is 4-23 / .174-0-1. Only 5 strikeouts.

Just a year ago, Gavin STone started the season at single-A Great Lakes and ended at AAA OKC. Now he's ready to take the bigs by storm, but he's getting sent back down for more seasoning. A few days ago, he pitched 2 innings and got 2 K's on sliders on the inside corner. I can't imagine any pitch tougher to hit. He located them perfectly and "tied up" the hitters as Vinny used to say and Rick Monday said himself the other day. He's a keeper for sure.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Could return at DH on Saturday Rotowire 3 HRS AGO Freeman (hamstring) is expected to serve as the designated hitter in a Cactus League game Saturday and then play first base Sunday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
That's tremendous news after Freeman tweaked his right hamstring Tuesday while representing Canada in the World Baseball Classic. It looks like that will turn out to be a minor blip for the star first baseman. He can remain penciled in for the Dodgers' starting lineup for Opening Day, which is exactly two weeks away.
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Adjusts approach at plate Rotowire 18 HRS AGO Muncy is no longer using a step-back in his swing as he did for the latter part of last season, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Muncy adopted the step-back last year in part to "lock things in place" following a rough start to the campaign that was likely connected to lingering ligament damage in his elbow. Ardaya reports that Muncy visited Driveline in the offseason and took up weighted bat training that has resulted in a quicker swing, and the veteran appears to be back to full health for the coming campaign. Muncy has so far shown positive results this spring, slashing .292/.393/.500 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI over 28 plate appearances.
Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Yet to get going this spring Rotowire 19 HRS AGO Taylor is slashing .115/.281/.115 with four runs and an RBI through 32 Cactus League plate appearances.
Taylor endured his worst campaign as a Dodger last season, slashing just .221/.304/.373 with a career-worst 35.2 percent strikeout rate. The rough season has dropped his fantasy stock considerably, and he hasn't helped buoy managers' confidence by notching just three hits -- all singles -- in 26 at-bats this spring. One thing Taylor does have going for him is his ability to play a number of positions. He's expected to be the Dodgers' primary center fielder this season and should also log a fair amount of time at shortstop, so he'll have ample opportunity to produce.
Dodgers' Tony Gonsolin: Resumes throwing program Rotowire MAR 15, 2023 Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Wednesday that Gonsolin (ankle) has started throwing, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Gonsolin has started playing long toss and was able to throw from 120 feet Tuesday in Arizona. The right-hander is dealing with an ankle sprain significant enough to potentially cost him the start of the 2023 season. It's a positive sign he's resumed throwing, however, and there should be further updates on Gonsolin's status in the coming days.

Think I’d rather have a strong bat in the lineup than a struggling multi-position player who can’t even get close to the Mendoza line in Spring Training. But that’s just me. GO DODGERS!!!

But that’s just me. GO DODGERS!!! You never know. Remember Von Joshua? Well one spring, I forget which, he had awesome stats and I remember "Vinny saying, "Joshua has forced his way into the starting lineup". Well, once the regular season started, he could'nt buy a hit. Joshua was a reliable reserve player and that was pretty much what defined his MLB career.
