Dodgers to sign Noah Syndergaard to a one year, 13 million dollar contract. There are 1.5 million dollars in incentives. How we manage to post at the exact same time? lol |

With the Syndergaard signing the Dodgers' payroll now projects to 215 million dollars. The luxury tax threshold is 233 million. Justin Turner is still out there. Will the Dodgers pursue Swanson?

I checked out Cot's and they currently have them at $170 mil. I don't see a 7- 9 year deal for Swanson. |

Jeter Downs was DFA'd by the Red Sox. He was part of the deal that brought Mookie Betts to Los Angeles. Sad for him. I remember thinking at the time this trade went down that Downs had no future with us, with Corey at SS. It's pretty obvious which team got the better end of that deal |

It's pretty obvious which team got the better end of that deal In retrospect the Dodgers got Mookie as a rental and had to take on Price's contract. Nothing was certain but were able work out the deal in the off-season. They gave up Alex Verdugo, Connor Wong and Jeter Downs. Wish we could have kept Alex. |

Dodgers purchase the contract of Yonny Hernandez from the A's. He's from Venezuela, plays second, third & shortstop & weighs in at 5'-9" & 140 lbs. He doesn't strike out or hit homeruns. He walks & steals bases though.
I predict Friedman cuts him before the Dodgers break camp.

He walks & steals bases though. I predict Friedman cuts him before the Dodgers break camp. There’s NO PLACE on this team for small ball guys who can’t swing for the fence every at bat! What good are baserunners? They only distract from the free swingers at the plate! Yeah - no way this dude makes it out of Glendale in blue. GO DODGERS!!! |
