Josh Reddick took a shot at Cody Bellinger. Said he should have tried to hit .200 with 150 strikeouts. He "prolly" could have made 20 million dollars by now.
Why are these Astros so butt hurt about the Dodgers? You'd think they were cheated.

The Five Longest Championship Droughts In Major League Baseball
by Jessy Williamson | Dec 3, 2022 | MLB
It’s been almost a century since the Chicago Cubs won a World Series championship. The last time the Cubs won the Fall Classic was in 1908, and they haven’t even been back to the Series since 1945. The Cubs’ long championship drought is the longest in Major League Baseball. The second-longest drought belongs to the San Francisco Giants, who haven’t won a World Series since moving to San Francisco from New York in 1958. The Giants have come close to ending their drought several times, but they haven’t been able to get over the hump. The third-longest drought belongs to the Milwaukee Brewers, who haven’t won a World Series since moving to Milwaukee from Seattle in 1970. The Brewers have come close to ending their drought several times, but they haven’t been able to get over the hump. The fourth-longest drought belongs to the San Diego Padres, who haven’t won a World Series since moving to San Diego from Houston in 1969. The Padres have come close to ending their drought several times, but they haven’t been able to get over the hump. The fifth-longest drought belongs to the Seattle Mariners, who haven’t won a World Series since the franchise was founded in 1977. The Mariners have come close to ending their drought several times, but they haven’t been able to get over the hump.
The Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series in 32 years on Sunday night. The following 11 teams have not won a World Series title during the last 30 or more years. Despite winning five World Series titles, the Pittsburgh Pirates have yet to hoist the trophy since 1979. For the nineteenth time in a row, the team has failed to make the playoffs. The New York Mets have won the World Series twice in their history: once in 1969 and once in 1986. The A’s only made the playoffs once in Oakland since moving from Philadelphia.
Only the Seattle M’s have never made it to the World Series; the San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay DevilRays, and Milwaukee Brewers have all competed in the Series but have yet to win.
The Colorado Rockies won the 2007 NLCS. This year’s win was their first in the World Series, not only because it was their first since 1995, but because they had the longest playoff drought of any major pro sports team for the 20 seasons preceding it.
The Pittsburgh Pirates won three consecutive National League Championship Series appearances between 1990 and 1992 (this was before the wild-card era). They went 20 years before making the playoffs again, after losing all three of their first-round games.
What Mlb Team Has Gone The Longest Without A World Series Win? The longest drought without a World Series title belongs to the San Francisco Giants, who last won in 2010. The Giants have not won a World Series since moving to San Francisco in 1958. The second-longest drought belongs to the Chicago Cubs, who last won in 1908.
It has been 55 years since the Houston Astros won the World Series. Since 1988, when the Dodgers last won a World Series, the team has gone 30 years without a championship. The teams with the longest and shortest World Series droughts are listed below.
The Giants became the first team in Major League Baseball since the 1977 Seattle Pilots to win four straight championship series on Wednesday night. The Seattle Mariners have not only never won a World Series, but they have been without a World Series title for more than 20 seasons, the longest such streak in any of the four major professional sports.
The Mlb World Series Drought. Since 1907, the Cubs have been without a World Series title, the longest drought in Major League Baseball history. The league had six teams who didn’t make the playoffs this year, three of which had never won a World Series. The New York Yankees have the longest active drought in baseball, having gone 19 seasons without a World Series title.

The Indians have not won a World Series since 1903-1980, as opposed to the Philadelphia Phillies, who have won four titles in 77 years.
The Yankees have been a dominant force in professional sports for more than a century, and even as other teams try to catch up, they continue to win titles. The team’s dominance is a testament to their talent as well as the dedication of their fans.
The Longest Championship Droughts In Mlb Despite the fact that the Seattle has gone the longest without a championship, their barren spell is significantly longer than the longest in Major League Baseball. Since the Washington Nationals last appeared in the World Series in 1988, the team has the most consecutive years without a championship. It has the dubious distinction of being the state with the longest championship drought in the United States, having been without a title for 36 years. Minnesota is the only other state with a championship drought that long, having been without a title since 1983.
Mlb Teams Without A World Series
There are currently eight Major League Baseball teams without a World Series title: the Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Nationals, Texas Rangers, and Tampa Bay Rays. Of these teams, the Mariners have the longest drought, having never won a World Series in their 42-year history. The Padres, Rockies, Brewers, Orioles, and Nationals all joined the league in 1969 or later, while the Rangers and Rays both started as expansion teams in the 1990s.
To earn a spot in the Major League Baseball, the Seattle Mariners had to overcome a lot of adversity. In the three years since they were founded, they have won three division titles and only one league title. There is no doubt that the Yankees are baseball’s most successful franchise, winning three World Series in a row. The Seattle Mariners could be regarded as one of the league’s top teams in the near future, but there is still a long way to go.
Longest Mlb Playoff Drought The longest MLB playoff drought is currently held by the Seattle Mariners, who last made the playoffs in 2001. The Mariners have the longest active playoff drought in any of the four major North American professional sports leagues. The team has not won a playoff series since 1995, when they defeated the New York Yankees in the American League Division Series.
It is guaranteed that the Kansas City Royals will have the least amount of remorse. After all, it’s nice to have a World Series victory in the last decade to wash away that stain. In 2015, the Pittsburgh Pirates were the victims of some extremely unfortunate circumstances. Since their last playoff appearance, the Pirates have played at least eight games outside the Wild Card Game. Before the Detroit Tigers can qualify for the playoffs, they must make the necessary sacrifices. The Angels have frequently crossed the line between being competitive and being competent. The Angels intend to end their skid in 2022 by assembling a core group of players led by Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, and Anthony Rendon.
Despite holding the number one spot in the National League East for the past 10 seasons, the Philadelphia Phillies have yet to reach the playoffs. Seattle’s 20 seasons without a title are the longest in the history of the National Football League. The Seattle mariners have won more than 85 games six times in the last six years after winning 93 in 2002 and 2003.
Longest Mlb Title Droughts The longest MLB title droughts are currently held by the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians. The Cubs haven’t won a World Series since 1908, while the Indians’ last title came in 1948. Both teams have come close to ending their droughts in recent years, but they ultimately fell short. The Cubs and Indians are two of the most storied franchises in baseball, and their fans are desperately hoping that their team can finally break through and win it all.
In the 30 Major League Baseball teams, 15 have won the World Series without hoisting the trophy for at least 24 seasons. The Guardians’ MLB-record 11-game elimination-game losing streak was extended. There are only a few Major League Baseball teams without World Series appearances, with the Seattle M’s being the exception. Since Barry Bonds’ retirement in 1992, the Pirates have never reached the Fall Classic. Every team outside the Yankees has won more dynastic runs than the A’s. Aside from their most recent World Series title in 1990, the Reds have not won a major title since 1993. Since ’02, the Twins have not advanced past the LDS round.
The Rockies won the NL pennant and eight straight first-round games in 2007. The Dodgers won the 2008 World Series in six games, defeating the Rays in the playoffs for the first time in 24 years. Colorado has yet to win the NL West title in 29 years.
The Cleveland Guardians: The Longest Drought In Sports The Cleveland Guardians have been without a World Series championship since 1934. The longest championship drought in sports is the 54-year championship drought of the Phoenix Suns.

Where do I begin? Reading such historically inaccurate bullshit is aggravating. I'm going to try correcting Jessy by memory. None of this is being checked out by me first. I've already started drinking too.
The Cubs broke their drought.
The Giants won three Worlds Series from 2010 to 2014.
The Brewers have not come close to ending their drought several times. Far as I know, they've only been in one World Series.
The Padres were the Colt 45's? I thought the Colt 45's became the Astros.
The Mariners & Padres never came close to ending their droughts. At least the Padres made the World Series though.
What happened to the A's? I recall them dominating baseball in the mid-1970's. Then they rose up again under the Bash Brothers.
The Astros have won multiple championships.
There were no 1977 Seattle Pilots. They had moved to Milwaukee & became the Brewers.
It was either the Braves or the Indians who won the 1948 World Series. I forget which. If the Braves won it, then Cleveland's last title was in 1920. I remember that because they beat the Dodgers.
The Nationals were in the 1988 World Series?
DC isn't a state.
The Cubs had the longest drought. How is 2010 that long ago? It wasn't the Giants' last title either.
The Nationals have a freaking title.
The Orioles were around long before 1969. Ask Brooks Robinson.
When was this written? The Dodgers won in 2020.
Baltimore beat the Dodgers in 1966. I was at the airport.
The Mariners did what? And the Yankees won five World Series in a row, from 1949-53.
Huh about the Phillies?
The Cubs & Indians are storied? Cleveland was the inspiration for the hit comedy Major League.
Barry Bonds retired in 1992?
How did the Rockies win eight straight first round games in 2007?
Hey. We got another championship. This one was in 2008.
1934 the Tigers met the Cardinals in the world Series.
Mr. Williamson needs to lay off the grains.

Someone started a rumor that the Yankees might be interested in Tatis. Not sure how I feel about that. There's this persistent feeling the Padres are going to regret giving him a 14 year contract. I'd like to see them pay every penny of his $340,000,000. Right now he's relatively cheap. In a few years he sure as hell won't be. Without steroids, who knows what his level truly is? Hal is running the team now that George passed. Hal is much less reckless with spending, yet he's on the hook for 360 to the Judge for the next nine years. I doubt Tatis will be a Yank. I think he'll stay a Monk and play LF now that Bogarts is at SS

Anyone else notice the Giants signed Correa to a 13 year, $350,000,000 contract? Where is all of this money coming from?

Dodgers acquire J.P. Feyereisen from Tampa Bay for Zach Eflin. Feyereisen just had surgery & isn't expected back before August. He's a stud when healthy though.

The latest I've seen on Carlos Rodon is he's looking for 200 million dollars & the Yankees have made an offer.

So far I'm seeing new television contracts with ESPN, TBS & NBC. There has to be something behind this insanity.

So far I'm seeing new television contracts with ESPN, TBS & NBC. There has to be something behind this insanity. Ads on the jerseys - it’s inevitable. One of my favs is Harley Davidson on the Milwaukee Bucks unis. Obviously, it makes sense based on HD headquarters being in the same city. But who are they advertising to? The NBA is comprised and watched by primarily young African American men. And while it goes without saying there are some blacks who ride Harleys, the majority of riders / owners are good old redneck white boys who sneer at the thought and idea of their “brand” being infiltrated by “outsiders”. Yes - I ride a Harley and have owned four different models over the last 35 plus years. I see blacks on Hogs in my area every now and then and give them the same “low” wave as I do to ALL bikers. The Enthusiast magazine I receive as a lifetime Harley Owners Group member usually has at least one article in its semi-annual publication about clubs or businesses started by and catering to African Americans which I read and enjoy as much as the other entries. But for the most part, the blacks I know, see and ride prefer the faster and sleeker Japanese brands. I’m sure HD is simply trying to continue to expand their market, but to me the NBA just doesn’t seem to be a good target audience match. It’s kinda like putting “Soul Glo” (Coming To America ref.) patches on NHL jerseys. 😁 It’ll be interesting to see who ponies up the greenbacks in MLB. As much as I LOVE the idea of “Chico’s Bail Bonds” on Dodger jerseys, I’m guessing they look to someone national or worldwide. Perhaps a little blue bird on the sleeve or front shoulder is in our future? Or maybe an apple? We already have the Nike slash like everybody else, so that’s out. Any other ideas for us or other cities? This could be fun! GO DODGERS!!!

How smart does the Dodgers' contract with Freeman look now?

How smart does the Dodgers' contract with Freeman look now? For type of a hitter Freeman is the contract is unreal compared to this year's contracts. We all know these dummies will start to regret these 10- 13 year contracts 5 to 6 years in, it's inevitable.

Dodgers to sign Noah Syndergaard to a one year, 13 million dollar contract. There are 1.5 million dollars in incentives.
