Some are suggesting Puig!
He'd be a cheap option in RF. We know he has an arm. Offensively he's average in my opinion. Thing is he can go at anytime. What if we're in the middle of the pennant and he blows up. Doh!

What if we're in the middle of the pennant and he blows up. Doh! His arm is counterbalanced by his inability to understand how to use it. He was constantly missing the cutoff man. The Dodgers helped make a generation of overhyped Cuban rich. They played the game like 'Sweet Georgia Brown' should be playing in the background. Absolutely no fundamentals. No mas.

Not to mention his baserunning. We had far too many blunders by the current bunch in 2021. I’m sure we could count on adding double digit additional gaffes by Yasiel. Panic and Sue would be ecstatic! Wonder if they’d be interested in joining our little board here? GO DODGERS!!!

And yeah, those Cubans definitely made out like bandits, fuckers! Little Puigy made a full statement on Twitter about how different it was, culture wise, in Cuba and how he and other Latino players were not versed or advised on how much scrutiny and microscopic behavior differences would be viewed in America. Pretty sure sexual assault / rape are taken pretty seriously no matter WHAT country you are living or playing in. Same goes for driving 100 mph with your mom in the car. Puig was never misunderstood or misjudged. He was a manchild playing a kid’s game that suddenly went from living in a hut to a mansion with all the “trimmings” that went along with it. He says he has matured and changed since those early MLB playing days and the Mexican league forced him to grow up and acknowledge his “childlike innocence”. I don’t see a lot of teams breaking down his door to get him back after the lockout ends, but you never say never. GO DODGERS!!!

GO DODGERS!!! Scum sucking vermin. Was it Pujols who picked Yasiel off after his customary rounding of first? That was embarrassing. Then there was that brawl in Arizona after Puig got knocked down. I'm not defending Ian Kennedy & the Dbacks. Just that Puig painted a big X on his back.

I like Juan Urite & Charlie Culbertson. They seem to get along so well with my precious little Puiggy.
Get real. That HAD to be an act.

I can compare Puig to Tanya Harding: all the talent in the world, but not much above the neck. He showed flashes of brilliance but it wasn't often. And he was pretty good in the '17 and '18 WS. What a waste!

Danny Duffy, free-agent left-hander, likely out until June following flexor tendon surgery
Duffy was ranked as the 36th best free agent by CBS Sports
R.J. Anderson Danny Duffy, the veteran left-handed pitcher who CBS Sports ranked as the 36th best free agent available this winter, underwent surgery in October to repair the flexor tendon in his throwing arm, according to Andy McCullough of The Athletic.
As a result of the operation, Duffy expects to be sidelined until June, or about 11 months from his last in-game appearance. He also told McCullough that he had weighed retiring, but that he's "full-go" for playing, and that he anticipates pitching out of a bullpen for the duration of 2022 before then returning to the starting rotation beginning with the subsequent season.
Duffy is a wild card in more ways than one. He didn't pitch after July 16 because of a left flexor strain. That same injury had sidelined him earlier in 2021, and this time it wiped out the rest of his season, preventing him from making an official appearance with the Dodgers following a deadline trade. Duffy is both younger (nearing 33) and better (105 ERA+ since 2018) than most would expect. His fastball fits the modern parameters, in that he gets deep extension on it and induces good vertical break. An adventurous club might sign him with an eye on tweaking his pitch mix to optimize his performance. At minimum, he has experience in both the rotation and the bullpen and could prove to be a value addition if his arm holds up heading forward.
Duffy has appeared in parts of 11 big-league seasons, with all of his in-game outings coming as a member of the Kansas City Royals organization. For his career, he's accumulated a 3.95 ERA (110 ERA+) and a 2.43 strikeout-to-walk ratio. By R.J. Anderson 18 h 1 min read

Freddy Freeman rumors are not going away.
Might be that Muncy doesn't see a live inning this year.
That's an upgrade but more of my attention is focused on who is playing 3rd.

Looks like a second coming of that clown we paid a cool million to last year that never even suited up in Dodger blue. You’d like to think that these scouts and management would have the brains and foresight to walk away from damaged goods like this. I love a happy ending reclamation project as much as the next guy, but not EVERYBODY can be fixed just because they sign with us. In an unrelated item, I saw yesterday that little Puiggy inked a one year deal with the Korean Kiwoon Heroes for a cool million. I wonder if that was in Yen or US dollars? If Yen, he better get used to eating a LOT of rice & Romain. And trading that Lambo for a Kia or Hyundai. GO DODGERS!!!

It would be laughable (and a little sad) it he was so stupid to think a million yen was the same as a million dollars.
1,000 yen = $8.81 US dollars. That would put his 2022 salary just under nine large. I wonder if that includes incentives?
GO DODGERS!!!
