Dodgers' Dustin May: Beginning year at Double-A
Rotowire Apr 1, 2019
May will open the season at Double-A Tulsa, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
May's strong showing in six Double-A starts in 2018 along with an excellent spring fueled speculation he might make the jump to Triple-A Oklahoma City to begin the campaign. Instead, he'll be booked for a return trip to Tulsa, but he shouldn't remain there for long if he's able to avoid the control issues that occasionally cropped up in his brief stint with the affiliate a season ago.

Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Reaches base five times Rotowire 18H ago
Lux went 4-for-4 with a home run, a triple a walk and three RBI on Sunday in Double-A Tulsa's 10-1 win over Springfield.
Lux closed out the 2018 season at Tulsa in impressive fashion and is off to a hot start in his return to the Texas League. The 21-year-old should get the call to Triple-A Oklahoma City at some point this summer, but the Dodgers would probably prefer to delay his service clock and push back a big-league promotion until 2020. Unless the Dodgers lose multiple key middle infielders to long-term injuries, the trio of Corey Seager, Enrique Hernandez and Chris Taylor should be enough to keep Lux on the farm this season.

Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Lighting up Double-A
Rotowire May 17, 2019
Lux is slashing .298/.362/.562 over 121 at-bats for Double-A Tulsa.
Lux just continues to rake in Double-A as his .924 OPS is currently higher than the .916 mark he posted in his fantastic campaign in split time between High-A Rancho Cucamonga and Tulsa last season. He's also provided excellent power, having launched eight home runs after hitting 15 last year. While his chances of getting a callup to the Dodgers this season are slim, it seems like a matter of time before the club will give him a run with Triple-A Oklahoma City.
