Ariel Hernandez and Josh Sborz both promoted to OKC from Tulsa. Hernandez will definitely in LA at some point, but Sborz will more then likely get a shot this year as well.

May 16, 2018 1:42 pm Dodgers' Yusniel Diaz: Hits DL with hip issue by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Diaz was placed on the 7-day disabled list Tuesday at Double-A Tulsa due to a hip injury, Kelsie Heneghan of MiLB.com reports.
It's the second DL stint of the season for Diaz, whose 2018 debut was delayed until April 19 after he came out of spring training with a combination of minor injuries. Since returning to action, Diaz had slashed .308/.419/.513 and collected five stolen bases in 93 plate appearances, with the 21-year-old outfielder reaching base in eight straight contests before succumbing to the hip issue. He faces an uncertain timetable for a return from his latest setback, though the Dodgers haven't suggested the injury is a significant one.

May 16, 2018 1:35 pm Dodgers' Keibert Ruiz: Belts three-run blast Tuesday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Ruiz went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk Tuesday for Double-A Tulsa in its 8-7 win over Springfield.
Though he left the yard for the first time in three weeks, Ruiz hasn't been short on power of late, as he had recorded four doubles over the four games prior to Tuesday. In his first taste of the Texas League, Ruiz is hitting .284/.341/.422 across 126 plate appearances. That stellar line is rendered more impressive by the fact that Ruiz won't turn 20 years old until late July, making him one of the youngest players on the circuit.

May 16, 2018 12:11 pm Dodgers' Logan Bawcom: Returns to Dodgers' organization by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Bawcom agreed to a minor-league deal with the Dodgers on Wednesday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
Bawcom appeared in 47 games at the Triple-A level last season, posting a 3.31 ERA over 70.2 innings of relief split between the Athletics' and Padres' organizations. He will begin the 2018 campaign with Triple-A Oklahoma City, which is where he spent a majority of the 2016 season, starting 12 games and serving as minor-league depth for Los Angeles.

May 20, 2018 11:32 am Dodgers' Rich Hill: Out at least four weeks by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Hill (blister) will be out at least four weeks, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Hill was placed on the 10-day DL after his blister popped just two pitches into his outing Saturday. The Dodgers will give him ample time to heal up with the hope that he can put this issue to rest for good. A replacement for Hill in the rotation has not yet been named, but the team may consider Dennis Santana, who struck out 11 over six innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday.

It might be a little early to promote Santana, great as he's been at AA. Brock Stewart is the much more likely candidate since he's had a good deal of MLB experience. I really like Hill, but the way he throws his curve, causes that recurring blister problem. So on that basis, I'm not sure we should keep him much longer. But again, he's supposed to be out only a month. Kershaw will be back soon for what might be his last hurrah. It'll be bittersweet to lose him, if this season ends as it might the way momentum is shifting. I just hope he doesn't hurt his back again later this summer. And when Urias comes back in July, he could take Ryu's spot if he's still out. Our only position player on the DL is Seagar. As has been much speculated, we could acquire Machado in a trade, but with Hernandez, Farmer and Barnes able to play multi-positions, I don't know that it's necessary. With the offense back on track and the rotation settled, we could make a great comeback and be in the playoffs. The '69 Mets were 18-19 on this date. If we can stay at least reasonably injury free till October, and with the revamped rotation, this year could be one of the great comebacks in history. 5 games back as this division bunches up!

Dodgers' Andrew Toles: Suffers minor setback Toles, Andrew (hamstring) recently suffered a minor setback in his rehab, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.Toles' hamstring injury continues to hamper him and the recent setback puts him further away from even being considered for a callup by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Though the setback was reportedly minor, it's unclear when Toles will be able to resume baseball activity.'
How minor is it when the last update we get is 11 days old?

May 23, 2018 6:59 pm Dodgers' Donovan Solano: Lands on minor-league DL by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Solano (hamstring) was placed on the minor-league disabled list with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
Solano was hitting an impressive .370/.419/.507 with three homers and four stolen bases across 38 games with Oklahoma City prior to suffering the injury. Fortunately, the organization only expects him to miss the next 10-to-14 days as a result of the injury.

May 23, 2018 6:54 pm Dodgers' Alex Verdugo: Dealing with ankle injury by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Verdugo is not in the lineup for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday after twisting his ankle during Tuesday's game, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Verdugo exited Tuesday's minor-league game in the third inning after turning his ankle while making a throw. The injury isn't believe to be serious, per Gurnick, but the Dodgers will obviously proceed cautiously with one of their top prospects.

May 23, 2018 6:34 pm Dodgers' JT Chargois: Sent to minors by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Chargois was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Chargois has allowed at least one run in four of his previous five outings, so he'll head to the minors to work some things out while the Dodgers bring in Edward Paredes to take his place on the roster and in the bullpen. The 27-year-old has shown he can miss bats (12.2 K/9) but will need to improve his command (6.4 BB/9) before he makes his way back to the majors.

May 23, 2018 6:27 pm Dodgers' Edward Paredes: Recalled from minors by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Paredes was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Paredes will take the roster spot of JT Chargois, who was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding roster move. The 31-year-old owns a impressive 1.17 ERA and 11.2 K/9 across 15.1 innings in the minors, though that also comes with an unsightly 7.0 BB/9. He'll likely work in middle innings during his time with the big club.

May 22, 2018 6:36 pm Dodgers' Pat Venditte: Sent back to minors by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Venditte was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Venditte was sent back to the minors to open up a roster spot for Tuesday's starter Brock Stewart, who was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. He didn't appear in a game for the Dodgers during his most recent big-league stint. Venditte will continue to serve as organizational bullpen depth in the minors.
