The Chiefs win the Super Bowl. Lakers win the championship. Dodgers take the World Series. I'll never have a year like this again.

Manfred really talks like that? Seriously thought the dude was having a stroke. Congrats to all the Dodgers and all us long suffering fans. How sweet it is!

The Chiefs win the Super Bowl. Lakers win the championship. Dodgers take the World Series. I'll never have a year like this again. This is my third - 1981, 1988 and 2020. I was only one in ‘63 and three in ‘65, so I didn’t even know what baseball was or who the Dodgers were. I’ve seen two Super Bowl wins by my Phins in the 70’s, but they’re SO overdue for another. My right upper arm is still waiting for that ink. Same goes for the Rangers. Multiple championships for my fav NCAA BB Tarheels going all the way back to Worthy (one of my favs) and Jordan. Life has been good in my world of fandom. GO DODGERS!!!

Thank you for taking out Snell. Did the spirit of Doc Roberts somehow find its way across the field and take over Cash’s brain? Snell was DOMINATING! Agon and Big Papi are questioning the move and the fact that sabre metrics are ruining the game. Can’t say I don’t agree with them. GO DODGERS!!!

Very odd - was that a lisp or stammer? GO DODGERS!!! Slur. I think he was smashed. Twitter seems to agree with you. Word is he was smashing beers most of the game. Saw the fireworks on several videos there. Thought about going out on my deck and unloading my AR clip to the sky. Wife didn’t think that was a good idea. Probably right! GO DODGERS!!!

Woohoo! They finally did it! It's bittersweet, this is the first time I've witnessed them winning it all and it came in the year of the virus, but I shouldn't complain. It happened and I can finally rejoice. Well done to the team and even Dave Roberts for getting out of his own way and letting these guys fullfil their destiny.
Happy for the whole team, but particularly Kershaw. Finally got his ring. Hopefully this silences the critics for good and all the postseason performances from him in the future will be stress free.

Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Cranks home run Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Betts went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a double and two runs Tuesday in a win over the Rays in Game 6 of the World Series.
Betts hit a solo homer in the eighth inning off Pete Fairbanks. The 28-year-old also hit a crucial double earlier to advance Austin Barnes to third base and proceeded to score what would be the game-winning run. Betts was a catalyst for the Dodgers all postseason and his impressive performance was crucial to them winning the World Series.
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Pulled for positive COVID test Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Turner was removed from Game 6 of the World Series against the Rays on Tuesday due to a positive test for COVID-19, per the FOX telecast.
The news comes as the Dodgers celebrate their first World Series title since 1988, putting the finishing touches on a roller-coaster 2020 season. Turner started at third base and went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts before being replaced in the field for the start of the eighth inning for what was a previously-unknown reason. The win by Los Angeles helps MLB avoid some serious logistical problems regarding a potential Game 7.
Dodgers' Julio Urias: Dominates from bullpen Rotowire 11 HRS AGO Urias recorded the 2.1 innings of flawless work Tuesday, fanning four and earning the save in a win over the Rays in Game 6 of the World Series.
Urias came into the game with two outs in the seventh inning with a runner on first and proceeded to immediately fan Yandy Diaz. The southpaw allowed three earned runs in 23 innings of work and was so impressive starting and out of the bullpen that he was in the World Series MVP discussion. The 24-year-old was the youngest player to record a save in a World Series potential clinching game since 1981.

Dodgers' Tony Gonsolin: Struggles as opener Rotowire 11 HRS AGO Gonsolin recorded the 1.2 innings of work Tuesday, allowing one run, three hits and two walks while striking out four in a win over the Rays in Game 6 of the World Series.
Gonsolin struggled again on Tuesday, with his only mistake being a solo home run to Randy Arozarena in the first inning. The 26-year-old threw 30 of his 48 pitches for strikes. The right-hander had a great regular season but was unable to replicate this in the postseason.

Urias wound up with a 4-0 record, 1 save, 1.10 ERA, 0.65 WHIP, 29 K's, 4 walks & 11 hits allowed in 23.0 innings of postseason work. Nothing special indeed.
