Was watching an episode of Seinfeld again for the zillionth time and was wondering to myself how many girlfriends he had over the series run.
Of course, a quick Google search led me to the answer of 73.
Being bored at two in the morning, I started writing them down on the back of a pizza box. Just from memory, I came up with 61.
I will eventually get those other 12.

After further review and discovery that not EVERY girlfriend appeared on screen (several were mentioned in conversations only) as well as remembering a few I had initially forgotten about, I did come up with the other twelve.
I have WAY too much time on my hands.

Watching the red carpet at the Grammys. Which I consider to be a bullshit award. But these women are deliberately teasing us. HOT women barely wearing dresses.

Binged on The Pacific, a kind of sequel to Band of Brothers about the continuation of WWII in and on some of the Pacific islands after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Not a lot of “big name” actors in this one. James Badge Dale (who was on “24”) and John Seda (currently starring on NBC’s La Brea) were both standouts in the series.
As much, if not more intensity than B.O.B., it depicts the brutality of the Japanese and their tactics against a far superior US force.
Interesting episode about the above two and their platoon getting a furlough on Australia and the welcome they all received there.
Also revealed was a large community of Greeks that fled to and settled on the continent during the war. I had no idea this has occurred.
Sena’s character, after being made a war hero and Medal of Honour winner gets sent stateside to promote war bonds, which were just as big of a deal as the war itself.
With six months left on his commission and shortly after finding love and marriage, he decides he wants to finish his term as he started, leading the troops in the field in one of the final battles before the Japanese surrender.
Another ten episode masterpiece by Hanks and Spielberg.

I've been binge watching 'Fugget About It.' A cartoon about a Mafia family entering Witness Protection & relocating to Canada. The stereotypes are hilarious.

Started watching “Sons of Anarchy” a few weeks ago. We were able to get thru Season One via DVD and our local public library.
The first disc of Season Two was available immediately, but after that, the discs were usually not available for two weeks.
So I hit Amazon and got the entire seven season and 30 DVD’s for the bargain basement price of $40.
We finished Season Two and started Season Three tonight.
If you like bikers, hot biker babes, drinking, smoking, extreme violence and occasional gratuitous nudity all with well timed comic relief, this is the series for you.
The Sons are a motorcycle “club” in a small fictional California town. Their main “business” is selling and running guns, but they also delve into porno and other interests.
Ron Pearlman (Clay) the leader of the club and he is married to Katey Sagal (Gemma & previously known as Peg Bundy).
Her son (Jax) and Clay (his stepfather) are conflicted over the “direction” the club is headed after Gemma gives Jax a “manifesto” written by his late father (who we still don’t know how he died at this point).
As a biker myself (although not gang affiliated - I am a lifetime H.O.G. Harley Owners Group member), the show thus far has been excellent.
Unfortunately, I was looking for something else on the internet and accidentally saw how the show ends - bummer!
But I’m still looking forward to seeing all seven seasons and how it leads to that finale.

Great quote tonight on PTI by P.K. Subban (I paraphrase):
“Sometimes you’re the dog; sometimes you’re the hydrant”

Was watching some Dean Martin roasts the other day. What was stunning was the amount of racism. You grow up with it & don't really notice. But there have been several decades in between. It was revolting.
The two funniest regulars were Ruth Buzzi (sic?) & Foster Brooks. Brooks always played the stammering drunk. That's not PC anymore either. But it's still hilarious.
Rich Little's impersonations haven't stood the test of time. Jimmy Stewart was on at least one show. He made fun of himself better than Little could.

I remember watching most of those back in the day. Dean was pretty much trashed before the cameras started rolling for most of them. Rickles was almost always there. Saw a documentary on Bob Newhart on YouTube by Judd Apatow a couple of weeks ago and had no idea he and Rickles were such good friends. Pretty nice tribute to both of them. FIRE DAVE ROBERTS!!!

Dean could ad lib pretty good. Milton Berle was on one & Dean wisecracked him. Berle said that was pretty good. Martin said - "And you'll use it too." Berle's shtick was always stealing other people's jokes.
