@mykbo
Premier12: Kim Kwang-hyun gave up only 1 hit in 6 innings, striking out 7 in Korea's win over Canada. Korean media reports that scouts from the Padres, Rangers, A's, Dbacks, Giants, Tigers, Mets, Dodgers, Mariners, Twins, and Marlins were at Gocheok last night to watch Kim Kwang-hyun.

By Joel Sherman 4. Enrique Hernandez, Dodgers — He’s a jack-of-all-trades, but that includes being a pretty good center fielder. Hernandez is a free agent after 2020. The Dodgers were interested in Edwin Diaz in July and are looking for closer insurance (or more) for Kenley Jansen. Los Angeles runs the kind of organization that feels it can get the talent out of someone such as Diaz. The Mets would not do this straight up because they also feel like they can fix Diaz. But what if, say, a cost controlled starter such as Ross Stripling were added to Hernandez plus the Dodgers agreed to take on Lowrie’s $9 million for 2020 as the price of doing business? nypost.com/2019/11/07/mets-center-field-fixes-mookie-betts-pipedream-to-a-cheaper-red-sox-trade/

Sherman is freakin high if he thinks the Dodgers should trade for damaged goods and include Stripling. I honestly don't care for Kike. Diaz was terrible last year and they wanted to run him out of town. He needs fixing if he can be fixed at all and Lowrie was hurt all of last year and is due $11.5 million according to Cot's not the $9 million he says. The only deal is Kike straight up for Diaz and maybe a little something more to offset the $5 million extra Kike will make. Take it or leave it!!!

@jaysonst
*Phillies still trying to trade Maikel Franco. More likely to non-tender him.
--------------------------------------- He reminds me of JT way back when with the Mets. Could be a very cheap pick- up for Friedman and one that the team might be able to work with and further develop.

@theathleticmlb
Sources – including Mike Fiers – confirm that the Astros were stealing signs in 2017 using an outfield camera, a monitor in the tunnel and banging on a trash can to convey pitches.

Cheatin’ Bastros! I know Kersh has always pretty much sucked in the postseason, but Game 5 that he gave up big leads TWICE might certainly have been attributed to this. Yes - they still have to hit the ball. But it becomes a whole lot easier if they know what pitch is coming before it left his hand. And Vulture’s meltdown in that same game in Houston as well? A game I believe that he still can’t get out of his head. GO DODGERS!!!

@jonheyman
Cubs are clear that they will consider trading from their excellent core — Bryant, Contreras, Baez, Schwarber, etc. “We’ve had a stable core for 5 years ... We’re going to have change.” — Cubs GM Jed Hoyer

It really wasn't his fault.

It would take a king's ransom, but Bryant would solve third base, AND a righthanded power bat.

Bryant is free agent eligible in 2022. So is Baez.
