Gaterol is jus5 21 years old. He’s 6-1, 265 pounds and throws gas. He had a 1.92 ERA in the minors last year as a starter and reliever. From what I read he projects as a reliever. Also heard that only the Red Sox doctors had issues with his medicals, other doctors didn’t have an issue with them. He already had tommy john surgery 4-5 years ago.

Good job by Friedman, hold onto prospects until you really need them.
Keeping Mookie is going to take a 10-12 year deal. I don’t really like those type of deals but they will have to do it. Some say he’s the 2nd best player in MLB behind Trout. He just turned 27.

Evidently some compensatory picks can be traded. I think it’s if you couldn’t sign a draft pick from the year before, I’m not 100% sure. Never heard of that before.
