Pretty much assuring they’ll continue to be another franchise without a WS championship (I’ll never think of them as the 2017 champs after the scandal revelation). We all know Dusty can take the greatest teams with the best records into the playoffs, but when it comes to winning the big and final series, he’s a big ZERO! GO DODGERS!!! Poor Dusty. He's fallen victim to the "crapshoot". Hey man, your Phins ended the season on a great note. Any chance at Tua or Herbert or what are you guys doing? 1. Bengals 2. Redskins 3. Lions 4. Giants 5. Dolphins I think the local Bungles are pretty much locked on Burrow and I’m not a big fan of using their first pick on Tua. I think of Mariotta - both are from Hawaii and left PARADISE to play in Oregon / Alabama. Not the brightest of moves. Marcus was never the same after the Phins took him out several years ago. He got benched for Ryan Tannehill, of all people and is now looking for a job which very likely will be as QB2. Tua comes in with two bad ankles and a bad hip right off the bat. That does not bode well for a running QB in the NFL where defenses are bigger, smarter and most of all, faster. Herbert would be intriguing, but if it were up to me, I’d load up on the O-line and a decent RB before even considering a QB. Try Rosen at the start with Galley and see how he does with a guy that knows him and his capabilities / potential. I don’t think they traded away a 2nd round pick for him to be a backup. If he turns out to be a bust, I’m sure they’ll have Fitz or another of the many FA QB’s to fall back on. Then jump on Lawrence with that first 2021 pick. He’s my #1 choice and I think the closest we’ve seen to Marino in a long time. 6’6”, 250 lbs and a rocket accurate arm, despite what he showed against LSU. I mean - come on! The kid had NEVER lost a game going all the way back to high school as a starter. The odds were stacked completely against him continuing on at that pace. He’s already wearing orange. Change out the purple to teal and return the glory back to South Beach! GO DODGERS!!!

You are totally right that he should get a crack with Gailey as his new OC. I've always liked trading down and accumulating picks if there isn't one obvious need and a stud to fill that need. I'm thinking you guys win more games next year and someone else takes Lawrence #1. Who do you pick this Sunday?

GO DODGERS!!! Boooo LOL! Niners baby! But seriously billy's Chiefs are really good and wouldn't surprise me at all if they win. It should be a good game. My take is it will depend on Jimmy G not turning the ball over and the defensive secondary of the Niners and not the front 7 keeping those wideouts and Kelce on check.

@buster_ESPN :
If had to bet the family farm back in Vermont, I would say the #RedSox will trade Mookie Betts before spring training. He will go to the Dodgers.
-------------- Pollock + Joc + Gray or Gonsolin + some other prospects...Keep in mind that they are trying to attach Price's money.

@sean_McAdam
Told that within the Dodgers organization, there is some difference of opinion on including Price as part of a bigger deal. A few are not in favor and want the deal to focus on Betts only.

Padres will though...

Padres will though... Fret not! We have plenty of great OFers as it is. Sure, Betts would've been our first true leadoff hitter since Steve Sax, but we won 106 games last year didn't we? Now, pitching is another story of course. But recall last year when we needed a good catcher and we signed Russell Martin? We all had pretty much the same reaction to signing Alex Wood, but again, 106! Will Smith was called up and proved to be Mr Clutch. I have confidence in Wood. He showed the 'Stros what he's made of. Sure, he was on the DL a great part of the season and didn't do well when he did pitch, but that injury was very likely why. Even if he can't handle it, we still have May, Gonsolin, Urias, Maeda, Stripling, and Jojo Gray who should be ready to join the rotation by mid-season. Regardless, I'd love to trade for a conpetent, established pitcher. As much as I love our kids, we also need a vet.

A few are not in favor and want the deal to focus on Betts only. And who could blame them. Not only are the Dodgers then strapped with an outrageous salary for a “never was”, they also likely get a whole year out of Mookie who then bolts for free agency in ‘21. His demand of $35 mil per over twelve years is ridiculous. NO WAY IN HELL do Kasten and company give him that much over that length. They didn’t for Harper, Cole or Rendon, they won’t for Mookie. I say keep the kids and let’s move on. Talk of the Snakes threatening our divisional title run is nothing more than that. There’s always one in our division the “experts” say will challenge us. How’d that work out over the last near decade? Not too well if I remember correctly. Maybe a little Kobe magic from above will drift down to the Ravine this year. Maybe Kersh will find himself again and be the ace we remember and carry that thru October. Maybe our offense won’t fall asleep this year and will finally show up for the postseason. Another career .200 postseason average doesn’t exactly scream “title” to me. Pitchers and catchers report in less than two weeks. I can almost feel the sunshine and heat of Glendale already here in Cincy, but I still and always will miss our semi-annual trips down to Vero Beach. GO DODGERS!!!

Hey billy, your Chiefs finally made it to the dance baby. After 50 long years. Mahomes is probably the best quarterback in the league, talent wise. Too bad you're playing against my 49ers or I'd be rooting for ya 9ers have a great defense. But if they decide to go long with Hill & Watkins, Mahomes can just go short with Kelce. Travis is money. Just as Tom Brady begins to fade we have a Mahomes moon rising. He's a generational talent.

Mahomes went to a great situation, KC and Andy Reid.

Now that I think about it, I think our rotation will be just fine. Last year at this time, we weren't sure who'd be in the rotation after Beuhler, Kershaw and Ryu. This year, we're without Ryu and Hill, but we still have Wood, Gonsolin, May, Maeda, Stripling, Urias, and Ferguson who can fill those three spots, and if not, there have been rumors we could acquire Danny Salazar from the Native Americans. I know he was hurt much of last year, but he's shown he's a very competent starter. And our next kid in the wings, Jojo Gray, should be ready by mid-season.
Ryu and Hill will be distant memories soon.

Chiefs getting all the calls in this game. Trash LOL You must have gotten ahold of a batch of sour grapes. Try sugar. Chiefs spotted their opponents 10 points this time. The fourth quarter was a blowout.
