So far Washington looks snake bit. Grandal burns someone other than his employer in October? Unheard of.

Yasmani entered 2019 with a career postseason batting average of .107 in 92 plate appearances. 1 double & 2 homeruns. Will he be the hero of this sudden death elimination game?

I see that egomaniac clown wearing his bright orange Marlins jersey and visor has once again made his front row appearance behind the plate in DC.
Saw him at a lot of the postseason games last year as well. Does he not know the Marlins SUCK? And who wears a team jersey for a team that’s NOT EVEN PLAYING?

Was just looking at his splits too. He hit .258-11-25 / .397 / .529 in 194 plate appearances versus southpaws this year. .240-17-52 / .372 / .441 in 438 plate appearances against righties. He actually did better against lefthanders. The Dodgers employed a pretty strict platoon with Grandal. He hit .206-4-17 / .344 / .383 in 131 plate appearances versus lefties his last year here in LA. .252-20-51 / .351 / .492 against righthanders.
Kinda what I figured. You can't employ strict platoons with everyone. They're already starting that with Lux. Not that they would do it with Seager or Bellinger. But it seems as though they pretty much assume they're the exception.

Hader pulls a Jansen. Martinez looked like a genius right up until then. Two inning closers are just about as rare as the Hope diamond.

So we get the Nats. Does either Scherzer or Strasburg pitch in LA?

Not sure who their #3 is, but would have to think he’ll get one of the two in LA. I still like our chances. Our starting three will ALL be fresh and if it gets to a Game 4, our “combo” squad has been very good. Plus the Nats have the worst pen in the playoffs with an ERA near six. GO DODGERS!!!

Let’s hope JT is ready and able to play and not only that, play up to his abilities. He’s been nipped by the injury bug on and off most of the year and didn’t play much that final week.
We’ve got our top three going, one of the best offenses we’ve seen in years and I believe third time WILL be the charm for us. Let’s have a new highlight of Bells rounding the bases with the fist pump!
GO DODGERS!!!

Much rather face the Brewers who are without Yelich and have a less formidable rotation to that of the Nationals. We were 4 - 3 against both this year, but we haven’t seen the Brew Crew since VERY early in the season. I’d rather go against them as well, but think we’re okay against the Nats. GO DODGERS!!! I didn't see the game but it sounds like the Brewers blew it. The Nats are more of a concern to me than were the Brewers. They have Corbin going then Strausbug and then Scherzer. Soto, Rendon, Kendrick, and Turner can pose a problem as well. Hopefully we can get into their bullpen as you've said and our pitchers hold those hitters in check. Corbin hasn't gone past 6 IP in 1 month and has only 1 complete game. Scherzer hasn't gone for than 6 IP in 2 months and has 0 complete games. Strausburg has only gone past 6 IP once in the last month and has 0 complete games.
