Yeah we're stuck with him two more seasons and I can't imagine what team would take him, except maybe the Rockies or Orioles. Even if he gets lit up with those teams, he can mentor the young pitchers. I bet next year his ERA will be close to 4. Yeah, Kershaw was a good #3 this year, he may be a good #4 next year. But it's pretty obvious to everyone that Kershaw in 2019 is not Kershaw from 2013, well except DDF! I don't see Ryu returning, Boras will probably get a good deal for him somewhere else. And, I don't want Hill back. So, Kershaw can slide in to the 4th or 5th slot. We have Gonsolin, May, Urias, Maeda, Stripling that deserve a shot at rotation spots. You, sir, are a blithering idiot. www.espn.com/mlb/features/cyyoung16-5, 3.03 era, 1.04 whip is not a #3 in any universe. why can’t you just make a point without going overboard and making a complete fool out of yourself? i’m embarrassed FOR you.

The Yankees must be waiting for their next opponent that's why you are back posting here, pretty obvious.

It all happened so fast, & I so freaking drunk, I didn't notice Clayton gave up those 2 homeruns on just 6 pitches. Wow! What a choke job.
All year long Clayton hits 2 batters in about 178 innings. First start of this series he hits 2 batters in 2 innings. Then he gives up 2 homers on six pitches. This guy is irreparable.
I've seen young players go through growing pains. Byron Scott of the Lakers comes to mind. Clayton is 31 though. Confidence is an admirable trait. To battle through adversity. But obviously Clayton isn't really confident or this shit wouldn't keep happening. He's stubborn & prideful. He's going to have to take a backseat if the Dodgers are going to get this monkey off their back.
Kelly, I can take care of with a Frisbee & shovel.

Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Homers in NLDS finale
Rotowire 1H ago
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 7-3 extra-inning loss to Washington on Wednesday in Game 5 of the National League Division Series.
Hernandez connected off Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg in the second inning to put the Dodgers up 3-0. Hernandez drew the start in left field Wednesday and finished the series 3-for-7 with a pair of extra-base hits and a walk. The 29-year-old experienced a decline in most of his offensive numbers during the regular season, seeing his OPS drop from 2018's .806 to .715. He still offers positional versatility and occasional pop, but not enough to mitigate the .237 batting average and .304 OBP he posted in 2019.

Another thing I forgot to mention, that some here have eluded to, is that Dave Roberts is a players manager. I hate player coaches/managers!
How many times in the history of all sports has a players coach led their team to a championship? It's got to be a very small percentage.

Our frequent (almost dogmatic) use of platoons isn't particularly conducive to favoritism though. If Muncy takes a seat against a tough lefthander, why not give Jansen an occasional save opportunity off & have Gonsolin close it out?

What he is on this team is irrelevant. You can spin it after the fact all you want. In fact I don't blame you for doing it, it's the best way for you to back track because your original comment was just plain idiotic.
And then you suggested he be a #4 or #5 starter. Yeah, ok. 16-5, 3.03, 1.04. You sure impressed us all with your lack of baseball knowledge.
Buffoon.

Haha your statement is out the door. It is this idiot that started with the insults. Go look at his initial response to me up above. But no you come at me for responding LOL. Total hypocrisy from you. He gets mad because I kick his ass at every turn. He should know when he is defeated. This post of yours only allows him to keep being a dumb ass and nothing more. If you love him this much keep it to yourself. Kershaw was a #3 stater for the Dodgers this season. The numbers don't matter. He was #3 period. He will be a number #4 or #5 near the end of his contract. Guaranteed. Now go read that post and tell me what about the insults, you hypocrite.
