I don’t see them drafting another QB - they seem to think Tua is the real thing and only needs a few additions to the O line and a couple of speed receivers. I’m not convinced and felt they should have let Tua sit all year and learn from Fitz (ala Mahomes). He looked very tentative in most of the games I watched, despite going 6 - 3. There are reports today that Deshaun Watson would waive his no- trade clause to be swapped with Tua. I’m sure he would! He’s not happy in Houston and feels he was dissed by the ownership not interviewing his recommendation(s) for GM. Guess what, Deshaun - you’re only a player who has ZERO say in who ownership interviews or hires. When you get a few billion together and can buy a team, you can interview and hire whoever you want. I’ve never been a fan of his and don’t think Miami would even begin to consider this based on their published “commitment to Tua”. GO DODGERS!!!

I mean he can suggest what he would like to see but don't go getting all butt hurt when you don't get your way. Anyway, guy is good. Dolphins, 49ers etc would be better with him. The thing is that he'll cost a shit load to acquire and would tie up a good chunk of the cap and the cap is never more important in anything more than the NFL. Just can't pay one guy at the expense of 53 others because although while good he is not that elite, Russell Wilson for comparison. I saw somewhere that the Texans had the same record before he got to Houston as the number of years that he's been there. I hope you guys do well with Tua. I just didn't see that it factor with him when I saw your games.

Exactly what I thought! @mortreport Reports about Deshaun Watson's unhappiness with @houstontexans are accurate and sources close to the QB say he is still angry about team's insensitivity to social justice, including hiring practices, after the franchise failed to interview Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy this past week

I just didn't see that it factor with him when I saw your games. Tua will definitely need to improve this off season and in 2021 and like you, I’m far from convinced he is the next Marino or even the future of the Phins. Chan Galley was hired as OC due to his relationship with Josh Rosen and the thought he might be able to finally get his full potential at QB. Then Miami releases Rosen before the season even gets underway. Just another in the many questionable moves since Ross bought the team. But I see Watson much the same as Akili Smith, Mike Vick, RG III, Jameis Winston, Tyrod Taylor, Teddy Bridgewater, etc. All stars in their own rights in the NCAA, but basically good for a couple of years in the NFL. The defenses are faster, smarter and turn run first QB’s into second and third stringers by exposing their arm and accuracy weaknesses in short time. Just look at Watson - he blew the league away his rookie & sophomore seasons and then went 4 - 12 this year. I don’t see him doing much better in 2021 or beyond because the defenses have figured him out. There are certainly exceptions to the rule - Cam Newton comes to mind. Yet we saw his arm inaccuracies exposed this year and his age and injuries have curtailed his running. New England missed the playoffs for the first time in over a decade. Lamar Jackson is another runner and to some extent, Mahomes. But both of them have also proved they can read defenses as well as throw and throw accurately. Watson will need to do a lot better next year if he expects an extension or new contract anywhere near what he got for his first four years. There’s talk Dak might get $30 mil plus a year, which I think is just insane for a guy who has yet to do ANYTHING for the Cowboys. I know QB1 is the most important position on the field and a good one can make a mediocre team into a winner and a winning team into a contender. But I don’t see Watson as an answer in Miami any more than Tua. And I don’t think Miami is looking to add a guy who thinks his opinion and preferences outweigh those of the team and ownership. GO DODGERS!!!

GO DODGERS!!! Tua definitely needs to improve. They've compared him to Brees but Brees though small and somewhat immobile had a nice arm, was quick with his reads and accurate. From what I've heard about Rosen is that he's had such a messed up attitude that it has turned off people. Hope getting traded and cut a couple of times has humbled him enough so that Kyle Shanahan can make him shine because the skill is there from seeing him while at UCLA. My guy would be Sam Darnold mobile and a arm. He's had terrible coaching and pieces around him going back to USC. Darnold with Kyle would wreck havoc on defenses. I like Jimmy G he's middle of the pack the problem is he's always hurt. Hope the Jets draft a QB and trade us Darnold. He and Rosen would be a really nice 1, 2 on the 9ers. Yeah, running QBs like you've mentioned above usually don't work in the NFL because catches and yards equal paychecks. Wide Receivers are divas and I mean who the hell wants to block all day for a running QB instead of running a route catching the ball for first downs and getting into the end zone. Mahomes is the best without a doubt right now and the best of the black QBs, he just doesn't look black. The best black QB I've seen is Warren Moon. That mofo was a playa. One could argue that if he played on the 49ers, Redskins, Giants in the 80's he wins multiple Super Bowls. Below is how I rank black QBs: 1. Patrick Mahomes 2. Russell Wilson- I see this guy twice a year and he kicks the shit out of my team and he's so good that I hate him more and more lol. 3. Kyler Murray- He's like Wilson except that if they keep him in the pocket he's average. 4. Deshaun Watson 5. Dak Prescott 6. Teddy Bridgewater 7. Lamar Jackson- Guy is the best Running Back in the league not very good throwing as of today. 8. Cam Newton- He's probably done. The first two are probably the best two in the league followed possibly by Rodgers and Allen from the Bills etc.

Can’t disagree with your list (although Mahomes is half white - dude just does things most human bodies cannot even begin to imagine). Both he and Wilson seem to be very intelligent as well which is a huge part of being a successful QB in the NFL.
I’m anxious to see how much Jones overpays for Dak and just how many more seasons Jackson will survive running as much as he does.
Murray and Tua had quite the shootout this season, but he’s another guy like Watson & probably Bridgewater that the league will figure out and I don’t see any of them ever being in the elite company of top NFL QB’s.
Moon was a beast - huge, fast & very strong arm. Culpepper was a bit like him but nowhere near as good.
Miami must still be kicking themselves for passing on Brees for Culpepper. He didn’t do squat for the Phins and Brees has a ring as well as continuing to have a competitive team.
Looks like nono might get the Triple Crown this year with our Dodgers, the Lakers & Chefs repeating. I truly don’t see any AFC team getting past them and the NFC looks weak as well with two geriatric QB’s (Brees & Brady) and another not far behind (Rogers).
GO DODGERS!!!

Agree, Brady pretty much has done it on intelligence and taking care of the ball his whole career. Cowboys situation is complicated. If they pay Prescott then they can't pay other pieces and lose guys. He doesn't seem like he can carry the team all on his own. I also think that McCarthy wants his own guy. If they go QB via the draft it might buy him a couple of more years in Dallas to get it together too. Agree, what a year for nono, the Trifecta!!! Big game for Ohio State tonight. I know you're from Ohio and I was wondering since I heard guys on the radio today here in Los Angeles arguing about who is most popular between Ohio State and the Browns? Who is it.

I’d say far and away it’s The Ohio State. The Browns don’t have many fans outside of Cleveland and have sucked for so long that they lost a lot of them. Ohio State is not only popular throughout the state, but also has a pretty decent following in Indiana, Kentucky and even West Virginia. I have a friend that is a die hard UK (Kentucky) fan except for football - he’s all-in on Ohio State there. I never was a big fan of theirs because so many times they’ve been overrated simply based on their rep and / or previous years. I think Bama crushes them tonight. GO DODGERS!!!

Good stuff jr, thanks.
Agree about the hype for OSU. Recently I've noticed that they're sending a bunch of guys that do well to the NFL. Their Quarterbacks are major flops though.

Mahomes with another TD pass. I was just at my murderous liquor store & bought a six pack of Modelo for a Bills fan.
"Remember - a Chiefs fan bought that for you."

I was wearing all red. A Chiefs cap & scarf.
Was talking to my youngest's mother before that. She advised me to talk "black."
"No. That's insincere. I've found it's best to just be me."
You don't have to remember lies. It also says I respect you, but I'm still me.
She didn't know my history after her. A girl from 98th & Western. A girl from Newark, New Jersey. Then I went lighter. A Puerto Rican. A mulatto from Belize. A Mestizo from Panama.

It must have been too chilly. No one was in the parking lot. I got a tall Modelo for myself.

KC's defense leaves a lot to be desired. Rubber bisquette and the Phins offense only manage to put up three in the first half at home against the 0 - 3 Colts. Gonna be another long, losing season I’m afraid, even if and when glass boy comes back. GO DODGERS!!!
