Chiefs' Frank Clark: Steps up Monday night Rotowire 14 HRS AGO Clark recorded four tackles (all solo) and a sack across 61 defensive snaps in Monday's win over the Patriots.
With Chris Jones (groin) sidelined for Monday's game, Clark stepped up as the leader on the defensive line, trailing only Tanoh Kpassagnon for reps in the contest among the unit. Clark now has three sacks on the season, a trend he'll look to maintain Sunday against the Raiders.
Chiefs' Juan Thornhill: First interception of season Rotowire 14 HRS AGO Thornhill recorded six tackles, all solo, and an interception across 73 defensive snaps in Monday's win over the Patriots.
Thornhill secured his first interception of the season off Brian Hoyer late in the first quarter. The second-year pro has now played in 89 percent of the defensive snaps this season, recording 17 tackles in the process.
Chiefs' Bashaud Breeland: Set to return from suspension Rotowire 21 HRS AGO Breeland has served his four-game suspension and is eligible to return Sunday against the Raiders, Mike Clay of ESPN.com reports.
Breeland was suspended following an April arrest for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The Chiefs' passing defense has been sturdy through the first quarter of the season, allowing 195 passing yards per game (third in the league) and four total passing touchdowns (third). Nevertheless, Breeland should be a welcomed addition to the secondary and likely will contribute immediately.

Chiefs' Mike Pennel: Posts career-high tackle total Rotowire 23 HRS AGO Pennel collected a career-best 10 tackles (five solo) Monday versus the Patriots.
Pennel saw a significant bump to a 61 percent snap percentage share on defense Monday with Chris Jones (groin) sidelined and he took advantage of the opportunity with a massive tackle total. While he's not the pass-rushing threat that Jones is, Pennel could be in line for a hefty snap count again next week if Jones remains unavailable.
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Nearly perfect Monday Rotowire 23 HRS AGO Butker knocked home both of his field-goal attempts and two of his three extra-point attempts Monday versus the Patriots.
Butker has surprisingly misfired on an extra-point attempt in each of the last three weeks after missing just three of his 48 attempts last season. On the plus side, he was perfect on field goals, which are much more valuable from a fantasy perspective. Butker has attempted at least two field goals in three of the four games and should continue to see ample attempts behind a high-powered Chiefs offense.

Rams' Troy Hill: Breaks up pair of passes Rotowire 15 HRS AGO Hill recorded six solo tackles and two pass breakups in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
Hill has posted at least five tackles in every game this season, and with 27 total so far, he's on track to shatter last year's 43-tackle threshold. His work in coverage has been decent, too, as he's allowed an 87.7 passer rating when targeted and has yet to allow a touchdown. These tackling numbers are intriguing, especially when combined with the fact that he's played virtually every defensive snap this year.
Rams' Taylor Rapp: Leads team in tackles Rotowire 15 HRS AGO Rapp posted eight tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
Rapp played every defensive snap because Jordan Fuller (shoulder) remained out of the lineup, and he ended up leading the team in tackles for a second straight week. A knee injury has been deemed one of the major causes for Rapp's demotion to a reserve role in favor of Fuller, but perhaps the 2019 second-round pick's recent performance will allow him to retake the starting gig.

Rams' Samuel Sloman: Connects from 32 yards Rotowire OCT 5, 2020 Sloman hit a 32-yard field goal and converted both his extra-point kicks during Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
The rookie has only connected on a single field goal in each of the past three games. As a result, there aren't many fantasy settings where he's a viable option. Without an uptick in opportunities and efficiency (5-for-7 for the year), Sloman should probably remain on the waiver wire.
Rams' John Johnson: Continues strong play Rotowire OCT 5, 2020 Johnson secured six tackles (five solo), including two for a loss, during Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
The fourth-year starter has quickly reestablished himself as an excellent fantasy option after sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury and playing just six games last year. Johnson projects to continuing playing nearly every defensive snap and providing reliable weekly tackle totals.
Rams' Morgan Fox: Records sack in second straight Rotowire OCT 5, 2020 Fox recorded four solo tackles, a sack and forced a fumble during Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
This is the second consecutive game Fox has collected a sack, and it was also by far his best fantasy showing of the campaign. However, he only played 27 of 68 defensive snaps and has only topped that mark once this season (29 in Week 2). His limited playing time hinders his upside, but it's clear that keeping Fox on a pitch count has enabled him to make an impact when he's on the field.

Rams' Cooper Kupp: Leading Rams receiver in win Rotowire OCT 5, 2020 Kupp caught five of seven targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
Most of that production came on a 55-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter as Kupp split the Giants' secondary for the final score of the day, and Jared Goff's only completion of longer than 20 yards. Kupp has found the end zone in consecutive games, and he'll look to continue that streak in Week 5 against a Washington defense that just had trouble containing Marquise Brown.
Rams' Jared Goff: Modest numbers in win Rotowire OCT 5, 2020 Goff completed 25 of 32 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
The Rams' offense couldn't get much going in this one, but Aaron Donald and the Rams' defense made sure they didn't need to. Goff now has a 6:2 TD:INT and has completed better than 70 percent of his passes in three straight games heading into a Week 5 clash with a Washington defense that's allowed multiple passing TDs in three of four games so far this season.

Raiders have the Chiefs' number. This is scary to watch. Looks like a “Vegas” game - guessing there was a TON of money on the Chefs this week. Thought they might have a chance to go undefeated and challenge the ‘72 Phins. That just might be the one record that never gets matched. GO DODGERS!!!

There were Raider defenders on every Chiefs receiver. Patrick threw his first interception. They did their homework.

Chiefs will pay Le’Veon Bell $690,000 in salary, up to $1 million in incentives
Michael David Smith 8 hrs ago
If a team had traded for running back Le'Veon Bell, it would have had to pay him $6 million in salary for the rest of this season. After the Jets cut Bell, the Chiefs signed him for a lot less than that.
By Evan Semones 19 mins ago
Bell will make $690,000 in salary for the remaining 12 weeks of this season, and can earn up to $1 million in playing time and playoff incentives, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
The Jets are still on the hook for the remaining $6 million in salary Bell is owed because that money was guaranteed as termination pay under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
That Bell ended up taking so much less than he was owed by the Jets shows that he just can’t command that kind of money anymore, and the Jets’ attempt to trade him wasn’t going to work. Bell was once a first-team All-Pro running back, but he didn’t play at all in 2018 and hasn’t played well in 2019 or 2020.
Now Bell will get an opportunity to show he still has something left in the remainder of this season with the Chiefs, and then he’ll hit free agency in 2021 — when he won’t get anything close to the money the Jets paid him.

Chiefs' Anthony Hitchens: Returns to practice Rotowire 20 HRS AGO Hitchens (illness) returned to practice Friday and is expected to play Monday versus the Bills.
Hitchens missed just one practice with a sickness that wasn't related to COVID-19, and he's shaken it off and will begin preparing for a crucial AFC showdown. The 28-year-old linebacker has piled up 37 tackles and a pass breakup through five contests despite not yet having played more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps in a game.
Chiefs' Le'Veon Bell: Joins Kansas City backfield Rotowire OCT 16, 2020 Bell signed a contract with the Chiefs on Thursday.
The 28-year-old was cut by the Jets on Tuesday and needed only two days to reach an agreement with the defending Super Bowl champions. Bell won't be eligible to play until at least Week 7 as he needs six straight days of negative tests for COVID-19 before practicing since he's joining a new team. Rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire has worked as the team's top running back so far in 2020, but the addition of Bell could help address the offense's issues is goal-line and short-yardage situations (Edwards-Helaire has nine carries for negative-one yard in goal-to-go spots), per Adam Teicher of ESPN.com. The two backs figure to split work once Bell is fully cleared to play, though their exact usage remains to be seen.

161 yards rushing on 26 carries for Helaire. 2 TD catches for Kelce. Oakland-LA-Oakland-LV had him covered like a blanket. Mahomes is 21-26 for 225 yards. No picks.
