jOC POST ALL STAR GAME STATS .209/.298/.373/.671 5HRS all this massive damage against RH pitchers sorry he's not even a platoon player anymore. Let Beaty have his spot, beaty does more things anyway beaty post all star stats 319/.402/.681/1.083 5hrs beaty scoring position 413/.491/.761/1.252 No frikken contest THis winter will be very interesting. Verdugo is the real deal and can hit lefties as well as righties and is better in OF, and we might or might not get a new closer.

Only run of the night in the finale. Boys really struggled to put together any type of offensive threat the entire series. The lollipop Kersh threw to Judge was ridiculous. I’m surprised that ball didn’t make its way OVER the pavilion and into the parking lot.
Houston will have their work cut out for them if NY continues to play like they have the last month plus, including this weekend.
Patience obviously was not a virtue tonight. Can’t remember our boys EVER swinging at so many first pitches resulting in instant outs.
Think there were three innings in a row where NY hurler threw less than 10 pitches for three outs, one of which he got the first 2 batters out on one pitch EACH! Not going to win too many games like that.
GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Slugs leadoff homer
Rotowire 8H ago
Pederson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.
Pederson crushed Domingo German's first pitch of the game 420 feet to right field, producing the only Dodgers run in the affair. The 27-year-old has tallied 82 hits this season, with 39 going for extra bases, including 26 long balls. He continues to play almost exclusively against right-handed pitchers while sitting against southpaws, against whom he has hit only .175 (7-for-40) with no home runs this season.

Yes, they might lose the thump against RHP but if the guy hits and they only have to pay him $415 K versus what they would pay Joc then it's a no- brainer. Joc should get the team something they can use in a trade this off- season.

That covers 242 plate appearances in 70 games. Compare that how he did in April and May when he hit 7 in each month.

He could be our “specialty” hitter. You know - like those bullpen guys that Doc (and his predecessors) bring in to pitch to just ONE batter? Joc could be used exclusively to bat against righties at home (at night, on even numbered days, during months that have 30 days). I added those last three myself. Thoughts? GO DODGERS!!!

Joc another meaningless home run to give the team a lead. His last one tied the game but we didn’t discuss that one, he’s about 80% meaningful now, 20% in garbage time.
27 HRs in 122 games, kill him all you want, that equates to over 40 a year. Granted he’s not gonna hit vs lefties.
He’s an asset to this team right now, no question. .800 OPS is pretty good.

Joc hits his 27th to give the team a 1- 0 lead. The score is 8- 0 now, route.

It’s a “route”?
And this one is “meaningless” too when the HR gave them the lead?
I want to find one person who agrees that was meaningless.
Anyone?
