Classic when I was living in Tucson. They hate us.
This bitch was going on about how ugly LA is. Golly. Is it as ugly as that rusted out trailer next-door? So I asked her what big cities she had been in besides LA. (She had driven through our downtown area on the freeway & didn't take an exit.).
"Indianapolis."
"No. BIG city."
"Why? Are you from LA?"
"Yes & I can't wait to get the F out of this one horse town & back to civilization."
I just left a group of my co-workers staring slack-jawed. Hicks.

88bulldog, You're a Jets fan? Yup, had season tickets for over 25 years. I have missed watching ONE game since I was 14 or 15 years old. My brother in law scheduled his wedding on opening day one year. I’ll never let him forget it. Otherwise my schedule revolves around the game. I have seen games in more than 20 different stadiums, some more than a few times. You? Nice! Yeah I've been a fan since the Rich Kotite days. New uniforms get showcased next week. Hopefully they look good. |
