Why does my little kitty puke so much? Sleet doesn't. Four kitties in and I still don’t have an answer to that one. Sometimes they eat too much, too fast. Which is then sometimes followed by one chasing the other in a mad frenzy. Hairballs. Kitties gonna Kitty! GO DODGERS!!!

Another reason we have found is despite the thrill that they get out of catching, toying with and eventually consuming house flies and other insects, those creatures don’t really agree with their digestive systems and nine times out of ten, spewing soon follows thereafter. And again - they’re (at least ours) are not nearly as bright as they are made out to be. We get a live Christmas tree every year and like clockwork, before we even got it in the stand, Axl would start eating the fallen pine needles. And EVERY year, he’d gak up this clear, gooey liquid filled with pine needles. This went on for probably 16 or 17 of his 19 years. He FINALLY figured things out there in the end. I miss that little dude SO much. GO DODGERS!!!

This neighboring cat & Sleet, Snowball & I are getting to know each other. He must be a male. Sleet never fights with him. Snowball waits by the door for him. He's all black. Really, a beautiful cat. This morning I fed him some turkey lunchmeat. He's wary of approaching. He doesn't refuse to come near me.
It would be nice if I ever decide to let Snowball out if she had a bodyguard.

I saw her looking over her shoulder at this other cat while she was eating his food.

This black cat is definitely a male. He & Sleet are a team out there. I'm calling him Soot. He just ate half a can of tuna. Then I put a cup of milk for dessert.

The black cat & I seem to be getting along pretty good. I fed him today. He walked within a couple of feet. He's very friendly. He looks young. Skinny.

Just woke up. It's raining. Sleet went out about 4:00 AM. I immediately went to the door & called for her. She came running with the black cat. He came up & touched noses with Snowball. He just couldn't bring himself to come in.
Why is he even out there? He has this little bandana collar. He has an owner. Odd.

Or may have an owner that doesn’t want or allow him inside. A buddy of mine and his wife “adopted” around four ferals over the last couple of years. Two of them became trusting enough to eventually work themselves inside, but the other two are strictly “outsiders” who live on his front porch. They have a bed with blankets and covered shelter when it’s cold and are fed / watered every day. The inside two still have and get access to the great outdoors whenever they want it. GO DODGERS!!!

It started to rain again a little while ago. I called to Sleet. She came running...with the black cat. I think you may be on to something. This might work out. I was thinking of getting a male cat as a sort of go-between for Snowball & Sleet. Then I wondered about the black cat I've been seeing. Two tomcats out there? But this cat may be the cat I'm looking for. I wouldn't be responsible for feeding him. Medical bills. I wouldn't try to kidnap him. He's hanging out here anyway. So...

The latest supermarket shortage is Friskies. The big barnyard size animals bags. So I'm experimenting with a small bag of another flavor.

Yep - we’re seeing the same thing here in Cincy with the 15 - 20 pound bags of Purina Cat Chow. Wife had to go to a couple of different stores last weekend to find a bag. GO DODGERS!!!

There must be a shortage of aging horses, or Red Dye #3.
