Just took a walk & figured it out. It's my right calf malfunctioning. I can bend my toes down but not up. It's kinda numb. That's why I'm landing so flatfooted. That doesn’t sound too good. Might want to have that checked out. GO DODGERS!!!

Might want to have that checked out. GO DODGERS!!! Yeah. I was debating as to whether or not to tell my doctor tomorrow at my monthly checkup. Talked to a pharmacist who gave me the honesty is the best policy shtick. I don't want to chance getting cut off some medications though. Guess I'll tell him, but not about any theories I might have. Light stroke or ataxia. Just walk for him. Let him see. Let him make the recommendation. It will definitely include a CT scan. They would have to look for lesions. If he asks about my drinking, be honest. I didn't drink that hard before the quarantine. Just, what the hell else am I supposed to do? I noticed it June 4th, & stopped drinking that night. Physical therapy would be a must. A brace came to mind this morning. Maybe a brace would help with the limping. I don't believe in God. But this was a very generous warning. I must have done something right. Just got a termination letter from my employer. My position has been eliminated. What position? I was part-time / on call. Wrote a nice letter to my supervisor. HE would be hurting. His whole job revolved around banquets. Me, they call me if they need me.

So the doctor's opinion was it's scar tissue from that broken ankle. But it doesn't hurt. It just feels weak. He wouldn't budge.
His recommendation is to see a podiatrist. Did I say I wanted my toenails trimmed? Hehe. Man.
I really like this doctor because he doesn't pull the God complex thing on me. HOW DARE YOU QUESTION ME??!!! I went to eight years of college. He admits mistakes too. He's made another one here. I'm drinking because of it. When I wake up no doubt I'm taking inventory. Toes work? Check. Feet? Check. Legs...

Had one remove some ingrowns from my two big toes awhile back. They had been giving me problems but I had NO idea how bad they were and how they could affect walking. One was every bit of five inches long and the other one was pretty close to that. The cauterized both, but I think the one on my right foot has returned or there’s something else going on with that nail. It’s growing so thick that I believe I’m going to need a saw-zaw to get thru it next time. Seems to be trying to take over the entire toe. GO DODGERS!!!

My brother gave me his opinion & that it's a circulatory problem. Then why do I feel the foot below the numb ankle? Why does no one listen to the person experiencing it?
Haven't received the referral yet. They better hurry before we have another lockdown. I think Texas is talking about boarding up again.

Okay. My toes ARE tingling. It's so hard to feel anything at all that I completely missed it. Seems to only happen in the prone position.
Putting on shoes is kind of surreal. Feel damn you!

Bought some of that Kerasal for my bad toe. Too soon to tell if it’s doing anything but I have noticed it pretty much numbs the whole toe. It BETTER - crap was $35 for a pretty small tube. GO DODGERS!!!

GO DODGERS!!! Is it working yet? The numbness in my ankle is getting worse. Maybe it is a nerve. Scar tissue pressing on a nerve. Wouldn't that hurt though? Weird that it's right by where the ankle broke. Maybe Doc was right this time. His flubbing my skin cancer diagnosis was hilarious though. I'm known for being 'temperamental.' Poor Monica, the receptionist. A referral, that normally takes one to two weeks, she got in two to three hours. That was after I exploded over the phone. I waited about a week & a half before calling in to check the status & found out their request hadn't been submitted yet. That tumor was growing like a weed. The doctor had previously labeled it an "age spot." "We still calling this an age spot?!!" He dropped his head... "No."

"No." Hard to tell - it’s only been a few days of applications but it certainly hasn’t changed much yet (and definitely not in the two days the packaging suggests may occur). I apply twice a day for the first week and then once a day after that for up to eight weeks. If this nail hasn’t changed by the time that tube of ointment is gone (no WAY it lasts another seven weeks), I’m heading to a podiatrist. GO DODGERS!!!

There's a rat in here. Just saw it. Must have come in during the night. I let Sleet know. This is YOUR job!

Not sure if the rat is still in here. I have to assume it is. If so, it's gone into stealth mode. I picked Sleet up & put her in front of the cabinet the rat was hiding in. Sleet heard it. Then I used a vacuum attachment to get it to move. It ran across my foot & into the living room. Glad I had socks on. Last I saw it was behind or under the loveseat. The door was left ajar. Then it occurred to me that I might not see the rat leave. Not a pleasant thought. I closed the door. Don't know if the rat escaped before that.
This little cat has caused this sort of thing before. She's a bird brain. She wants to go out. She wants to come back in. She wants to out again. I'm not your freaking doorman. Your tips suck anyway. Raccoons, lizards, birds, mice & rats have all come in before because of this little cat.

Yup. The rat is still here. He seems like a cool little guy. He just wants to be left alone.
Now I don't want to kill him. Just somehow guide him out. Like I did with the racoons.
Just heard him. He's under the coffee table.

I think Ratty has moved in. He doesn't want to leave. I left the door open a bit with a flour trail in front of it. That way I can see if he leaves. Nope.
Was laying on the couch with Sleet in my lap. She perked up & I knew it had to be Ratty. He was on top of the sofa's back cushions. He quickly retreated. Sleet seems curious about her new roommate. But that's about it.
Was reading earlier that rats are actually clean & social animals. Smart too. A lot of people have them as pets. Not willing to go that far.

Sorry, Ratty.
Woke up this morning to a Ratty hat. Ratty had gone to sleep in my hair. Wasn't quite ready for that & flung him in the air. That was like a shot of Red Bull. I heard Ratty hit the floor. I'm sure he's okay.
Could this have been someone's pet? For a wild animal he sure seems comfortable living here. He was on a screen yesterday. Like he was looking for a way out. I opened it, but not before he ran away. Far away from the door. Then he wouldn't go out last night with the door open & no one in his way.
Sleet went outside this morning & cried to come back in about two minutes later. Pin head. THIS is why we get wildlife in here.

RIP, Ratty. He may have just committed suicide.
I went into the bathroom & Ratty was at the bottom of the toilet. No Ratty! Then he looked up at me & moved. I searched for something to fish him out with. He turned around & marched down the drain. Why, Ratty! Why?! I quickly looked up how long rats can live underwater. Three minutes. I waited 8 & flushed it. The first one went down hard. After that the drain was clear. He hadn't been acting despondent.
There must be a little memorial I can get for Ratty.
