Okay. Just talked to his ex-wife. She said she had bought him clothes. Now I know what the extra money is for.

Having two televisions hooked up to cable. One to an Amazon Firestick. Three landlines being hooked up. Two computers. This is after putting carpet in part of the place & hardwood floor in the rest.

I have this German bitch on my left hip who's been angling to cut in front of me since I got here. Making me stand closer to people than I wanted.

Worked another funeral. Jorge is definitely horning in on my job. He's working a birthday party right now. It's hosted though. Which means he can't handle drinks & money at the same time. Remember that this guy is Mexican. The last thing he asked me before I left was how to make a margarita. Really? I had to show him. About three times.
The funeral was okay though. Italian-Americans. The woman in charge & I joked a little towards the end. She told me about the showing the night before. I said I know - my ex was Catholic. I went to her cousin's funeral, didn't even know the guy & still broke down in tears. Told her I was glad none of her guests shot me in the foot, like Joe Pesci did with Spider in Goodfellas. She busted out laughing & said that was done last night.
Walked with $80.00 for doing nothing. Lot of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett & Dean Martin.

Oh yeah. Jorge was eating when I pushed my liquor cart past him, towards the office. He told me to take it upstairs for his party.
"You want it? Here it is."
I pushed it towards him.
"I'm on break."
If I hear that again from that lazy MF I might just lose it.

Two events cancelled. Yesterday & today. My boss said their legal team would be looking at these last minute cancellations. Guess the hoped for guests want their deposits back. I said good luck with that. We would be standing on very shaky ground. The government wants to shut down restaurants & bars. The guests are only following the government's lead.
A lot of businesses are getting mauled in the hysteria. Hope we survive. If we do, I'm sure I'll still have a job. It's full-time employees like Jorge who may be let go. Part-time / on-call means I get no benefits. I make no demands on shifts & or hours. Beyond our respective performances, that makes me more valuable.

Sly is lucky I'm loyal. That bastard took a crap on my new bed. Luckily I hadn't removed the plastic yet.
Been moving furniture back & forth & rearranging, books, tapes & CD's. Maybe someday I'll do an inventory. Looking at five full bookcases. Easily over a thousand books, hundreds of tapes & CD's from The Learning Co., a lot of old magazines, & the baseball card collection. I accidentally broke a Vladimir Guerrero bobblehead. I always liked that guy. Should have been a Dodger. Fucking Frank McCourt.
It's shaping up though.
Coughed yesterday. A congested cough. 1:30 PM, Tuesday, 3-17-20. Obviously I made a note of it.

John wanted $1,200.00 today. I gave him $700.00 of my own. The $1,200.00 would have closed out his account.
I took him a microwave, silverware, a couple plates, a soup bowl, soup, chili & water.
If he insists on blowing through his cash there's really nothing more I can / will do. God bless you.

Lordy! Wore a bandana & cap today. My hands were shaking at how easy it would be to walk into a bank that way. God help me.

Lordy! Wore a bandana & cap today. My hands were shaking at how easy it would be to walk into a bank that way. God help me. Hang on, Sloopy! Your $1,200 relief cheque is in the mail. Of course, we’ll all have to pay the 20 - 30% taxes on it when we file in 2021 (if we’re still alive), but what the hell. Another $2,400 in our .001% interest savings account. Woo hoo! GO DODGERS!!!

F'n Costco. Dropped my prescriptions off Tuesday because a couple are controlled substances & they need the hard copies. They said those were on back order. Be ready today. I go back today & they say they can't fill these early. Early? This is actually late. Oh! I meant you were supposed to call beforehand. Then why did I even bother dropping off the hard copies early? Why was I told Saturday? The clerk apologized profusely as I stepped back muttering...
"What the fuck kind of shit is this?"
After that it was difficult to keep their lips off my ass.
In all it took about an hour with no one else in line.
Then stopped by the liquor store. Not one of the street urchin who occupy that parking lot was wearing a mask. We joked about that.
Bulldog is okay. We emailed back & forth yesterday. He had to close up shop though.

What kind of shop did bulldog have? He emailed me awhile back about a possible investment opportunity for some kind of high end hot dog restaurant that was already operating here in Cincy.
Told him I’d never been there as it’s in downtown and we hardly ever go down there unless for a game or occasional concert or show but as I had understood from local reviews it was doing very well and had a huge lunch crowd every day.
Not sure it that’s the shop or if he got into something else. I thought his main job was insurance related.
Glad to hear he’s doing okay but sorry he had to shut a business down.
Think everybody’s getting a bit stir crazy and are ready to get things open and operating again.
GO DODGERS!!!
